Unique property, right in the heart of Beaver Creek. Not cheap, but worth it!

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Loved the hotel and room, would definitely come back

I loved the old world feel. Loved the rounded ceilings. Loved the staff and the breakfast.

perfect location and access to the spa and pool at the Hyatt is perfect! walkable to slopes. plenty of restaurants in town. free parking next door. The only hesitation is the few people I dealt with at the front desk, they didnt seem to have that hospitable/welcoming vibe

Staying here, especially this time of year, is like stepping into an literal Hallmark movie. The Poste Montane is quaint and familiar with luxury amenities. Front desk has familiar faces, rooms are well appointed and all offer something unique. We loved our lodge room this time with the wood burning fireplace. The festivities the day after Thanksgiving include the tree lighting, figure skating performances and fireworks. Ice skating is a must, and the hot cocoa offered 24/7 at the Poste Montane is the perfect way to warm up before you head back to your room. We started a small fire in our fireplace and felt the magic this place brings year after year warm our hearts. It is our favorite and most trusted place to stay year after year, I try to keep it a secret, but they deserve every good review they get. See you soon Poste Montane!!

Beautiful European building with friendly staff. Great breakfast every morning. Happy hour on Tuesdays and other activities such a game days or cookies and milk on others. Right on the square in Beaver Creek.

Comfortably elegant hotel in center of Beaver Creek with walkable access to shops and dining, and to hiking trails.

Lovely place! Perfectly modern amenities but also feels like a quaint place of history.

We have been coming to this property for over 10 years now and it’s always as charming as the first time. From the well appointed and unique rooms, with the sweetest details in every corner, this is by far my favorite destination in Colorado. You feel like you are in a small village tucked away from everything. Jeremy at the front desk accommodated our last minute travel interruptions due to weather and was amazing to work with!!! They offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast and have the best hot cocoa in town(kids favorite), and the staff at this hotel are consistently amazing!! The rooms are pristine and every villa has its own unique charm. You have full access to the the spa across the way and there are so many restaurant choices within steps of the villas. The ice skating rink can be seen from many of the rooms, and skiing is right on property as well. I can’t say again how much I appreciate Jeremy and the rest of the amazing staff here. I always look forward to coming back, and I hope I can keep this tradition for years to come!!!!

This was the first hotel built in Beaver Creek in 1983. If you like dark furniture, dark leather and chandeliers, you will find this hotel attractive. Nothing modern about it. It really was fine- mostly. Well maintained, attractive, clean. HOWEVER- two aspects were poor. The one that was really inexcusable was the included breakfast. This was on par with the cheapest chain hotel in the middle of nowhere, not up to the aspirations of this hotel. Easily improved- it would be no big deal to find some fresh pastries, for example. Another easily issue remedied would be to realize that guests from all over the country are more interested in reading the New York Times, WSJ, or even USA Today, rather than the Denver Post. I wrote this negative review partly in the hope that management would take notice and do these easy improvements. For the money I paid ($145) it really wasn't bad, but if I had paid $250, these small things would have been more irritating.

It was a good place to stay in the village with everything at our fingertips. It has a small cozy atmosphere and it isn't overcrowded are a budget buster. I'll come back to the poste montane on the next ski trip. I enjoyed the short walk to shopping and restaurants and 2 ski lift to get anywhere on the mountain.

We arrived late after checking hours, asked attached pizza restaurant hostess to find us hotel staff, she was very helpful and found the front desk clerk off duty, and he showed us where to find our envelope containing checking in info and code for different doors. We were allowed to leave our car in the front of the Lodge. Hotel room is very spacious and comfortable with lots of European accent, if you try their oversize bath tub, you'll feel the quality & difference comparing with a standard hotel room, very clean, super comfy. The next morning, we met the front desk clerk, he's very professional and friendly, told us the meaning of the hotel, and let us just leave our car at the front door curb so that we could easily load our luggage when leaving the hotel. European breakfast is great with both cold and hot items, land of plenty. The front of the hotel is in a fabulous luxury resort & hotels front doors circle, next to Haytt Hotel and several other property, the back of the hotel is a dining and shopping corridor with skating rink, fine dining restaurant with plenty outdoor sitting, fire place. Just stayed one night, wish that We could stay more, will be back with longer stay. Poste Montane lodge, five stars!
