Really nice hotel overall. The check-in process itself was fast and easy, which I appreciated. However, I didn’t like how the parking situation was handled during check-in. I had to leave the car near the lobby while I went inside, parked beside another unattended vehicle, so there wasn’t much room to position my car differently. My spouse and children were waiting in the vehicle. A member of the valet staff asked my wife to move the car, but she couldn’t at the moment because she was caring for our 6-month-old baby and 2-year-old. The valet then went ahead and moved the car himself. He was polite about it, but I don’t think anyone should move a vehicle while a family is still inside.
When we got to our room, we realized it wasn’t the room I had originally reserved. After bringing my family there, I had to go back to the lobby to request the correct room and then move my family and belongings to another room in a different tower.
I also parked the car myself, which was fine since I prefer not to use valet and like to park on my own. However, I ended up bringing all of the luggage to the room by myself because no one really offered to help. By the time someone finally did, I was on my last trip from the car to the room, so there wasn’t much left to carry.
The staff was always nice, but overall, this wasn’t the experience I was hoping for.
