Este bungalow modernizado de 1926 lleno de luz es el lugar ideal para relajarse después de un día o una noche de explorar la vibrante Austin.

Disfrute de un té helado o margarita en el jardín privado, bajo un majestuoso roble de 350 años.

Descanse bien en los cómodos colchones de espuma de memoria eco-bambú. Ambas habitaciones de la planta principal cuentan con camas de matrimonio y ropa de cama de alta calidad. El dormitorio principal cuenta con un amplio vestidor. Un loft con un futón doble para huéspedes adicionales.

Wonderful home and great location

We had a wonderful stay at The Red House for our first visit to Austin and my husband’s 72nd birthday. From walking in to lights on and soft music playing to being close enough to walk to South Congress, our visit was great! Comfortable beds and linens for a good night’s sleep, a very well-stocked kitchen and great internet made for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, fun neighborhood.

We have spent a couple of weeks camping in our van at various TX state parks. It was nice to have a change of pace at a house in a fun Austin neighborhood.

Very nice neighborhood, quiet and great location

We stayed during Austin City Limits concert. About 5 days. We walked to some neighborhood stores Used Uber for getting around. It was pleasant and comfortable house. Great location, great communication with hosts.Would definitely use again. Thanks!!!

Great location but house could use a deep clean

Overall the house was great. Location was extremely close to congress and tons of restaurants. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs but the house itself could really use a deep clean. Linens and dishes were fine but the floors and bathrooms felt like they had a layer of dirt on them. Also just a good amount of dust and dirt on windowsills and lamp fixtures. Overall would have been a perfect stay had the house been a bit cleaner but would definitely recommend for anyone looking to be right in the hub of Austin.

Fabulous location - short walk to everything!

This is exactly as pictured and described on the site. It is super convenient to dining, shopping, and just walking in Austin. this was a short getaway with a girlfriend, and the 2 bedrooms worked perfectly. We didn't need to use the upstairs loft. The owner communicated well and responded quickly. the place was spotless (and I am a bit of a germ freak!) so felt comfy there. The outside area was nice, with a huge, beautiful tree in the back yard. It is in a neighborhood, so you have houses surrounding you, but frankly was surprisingly quiet. But primarily it is the location that makes it. We left our car there and basically walked everywhere

Great location and cute place

Really cute place - very homey and welcoming, beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked (even though we didn’t need to use it), and lots of nice extra touches. Excellent location - safe area and a quick walk to shopping and restaurants on South Congress.

Perfect South Congress location!

Perfect house for our stay! Tons of little amenities that we appreciated- especially coffee filters and laundry detergent. Quiet neighborhood that’s an easy walk to South Congress. If it wasn’t booked, we’d be back in a couple of weeks for St. Edward’s Homecoming.

Can't Wait to Go Back!

A friend and I stayed here during a long weekend in Austin while hosting an event in Bouldin Creek. It was a great location for us—walkable to so much, including a great running/walking trail and easy access to the "Town Lake". The rooms were cozy, the extra bathroom was appreciated, and the tree lined street was beautiful in the spring. I appreciated the items included that would make it comfortable to stay here with kids, too—highchair, extra space, a few games, etc. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing location. So much to do within blocks from the house

It worked out perfectly for me and one friend to have plenty of space. Very safe community and just a few minute walk to plenty of shopping and restaurants live music. We had a great time.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed this home and neighborhood. Close enough to everything but far enough removed to still be quiet. Home was clean and enough space for us both. We spent time outside in the yard which was peaceful.

This comfortable home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, but still within walking distance to great food and some shopping. Use a scooter to easily get downtown. Nice and clean too! I’d stay there again.

Cute House in a great location

This house lived up to all the five star reviews. It was the right size for my (adult) nephew, my dog & I. Very welcoming with lights and heat already on for a cloudy January afternoon with the internet radio playing which set the tone for our visit. Beds are very comfortable & kitchen is well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised to find the yard fully fenced so my dog could sniff around off leash. The nearby green belt between little and big Stacey parks was a nice spot to walk her. South Congress was an easy walk out on Annie Ave with an excellent BBQ truck right on that corner, a great donut shop a block further in one direction and The Continental Club in the other. My Nephew saw an amazing smooth jazz show there which he was inspired to try because of the internet radio selection at check in. Never expected he would fall in love with Jazz in Austin! I stayed in snuggling with my dog catching up my social and email while watching Netflix all via the fastest internet ever seen at a rental Our two day time out during a cross country road trip was very welcome. The ability to wash clothes and cook a real meal had us rested & ready to face the remaining miles If I ever get back to Austin this place would definitely be my landing spot again!

First Time in Austin

Our stay in Austin was unexpected and sudden as we evacuated New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida. Red House was the perfect place as a home-away-from home. Dani and Joseph have gone to great lengths to make the property comfortable, welcoming and equipped with all the amenities you will need in a whole house rental. The beds were so comfortable and nicely appointed with linen duvets and sheets. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious and the entire home is stylish and very clean. The backyard was just the right size for my small dog and it was refreshing to have the space to sit outside in the mild Austin evenings. We loved the neighborhood and its eclectic vibe and it is perfectly located within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Dani is a gracious and considerate host. She went out of her way to facilitate an extra day of rental for us and was very easy to reach and quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. That is often difficult to find in a short-term rental situation and we were grateful for her consideration and hospitality. This was a top notch property and Dani and Jospeh were exceptional hosts. Highly recommend them and Red House and would stay again in a minute!!

Long weekend away

We're in town visiting friends and family and this location was perfect for a low key getaway. It is within walking distance of the South Congress area with plenty of options for food and drinks. The house is cute, comfortable, and has anything you need to feel at home. We look forward to visiting again!
