This was a great stay and very convenient as my son lives on the same street so we could walk to his house every day. The apartment is larger than the photos show, very clean and bright. The only issue we had was with the very firm mattress. It is a Tuft and Needle mattress which is very good quality, but only 6 inches thick. Even my husband, who is usually stoic about these things, complained as he is a side sleeper. We ordered a memory foam topper that did the trick and then gave it to our son before we left as he needed a new one. My only recommendation to the host would be to have a high-density memory foam topper available that can be added when needed.Raymond was very kind and we enjoyed talking with him each day as he was working in the beautiful gardens. It is a great location, has everything you could need, including a well-stocked kitchen, and even a washer/dryer combo in the kitchen. Lots of room to place luggage in the bedroom. Ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room and bedroom, plus a good AC system cooled the apartment down quickly when we returned each evening. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town visiting our son.

We just had a delightful stay here -the living space, bedroom and bathroom were all thoughtful, comfortable spaces with exactly what you need. Perfect for a multi-week stay in Austin. Very close to the Boardwalk, easy to walk to Congress St.

This is an oasis at the edge of a city. With a lily pond and beautiful grounds. If you want to feel like you’re in a home and not a tiny condo this is your place. It’s very unique on the outside with a living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. Washer and dryer iron board really everything you need. I wanted to South Congress and went shopping. Had a fabulous meal Uber back and it was only five dollars for the Uber. Went walking every day on the walking trails along the river. This is my second time here I stayed a week both times and I loved it. Enjoy. PS the owner even left English muffins yogurt and Mandarin oranges. Tea coffee. Like I said everything you need.

Great oasis

We liked this property! It was a 10-15 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go. A short walk to an entrance to the path around the lake. Great views of downtown. It was sweet that there were flowers on the table for our anniversary and breakfast foods, fruit, and coffee for us when we arrived. Plenty of towels and toilet paper! I appreciated that Raymond had both recycling and composting.The place was comfortable and well designed. As the listing states, there are stairs to get to the house!

Enchanting property

My plane was extremely late arriving in Austin. I arrived at the property at midnight and Raymond the host greeted me and even carried my luggage to my room. Upon entering the room it looked beautifully decorated and as the listings portrayed. Also the host had left a fruit bowl with apples, tangerines, and grapes. Also English muffins, butter and Nutella. I love everything about this property including onsite parking. I enjoyed the library of unusual books, Koi pond and the unique landscaping. I’ll be back!!

Overall, perfect stay in Austin. Host was very easy to communicate with. I appreciate them letting us check in early. Lovely Stay in a Great Location

We were in Austin for the first football game of the season. The location was fantastic - easy access to SoCo and the path around LBL. We received a warm welcome, along with a bowl of fruit and chocolates, English muffins and fresh ground coffee. The home is thoughtfully designed and incredibly clean. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect little spot

This place suited us perfectly. Very considerately and thoughfully prepared. A little enclave with friendly, welcoming neighbours. Great Location!

House is very clean & comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful. The location is great with lots of things close enough to walk to or make a short drive. Loved being able to walk down to the Lady Bird Lake boardwalk in the morning. Would stay again!

Raymond and Christy’s home is charming, warm , eclectic. Raymond welcomed us personally and made us feel immediately at home even though it was 11:30 pm due to our flight arrival time The home is a short walk to the river boardwalk for morning runs and easy mile walk to a neighborhood park to see one of the famous Moon towers! If we ever visit Austin again - we will make it a priority to book Raymond’s and Christy’s home again

Visited the state capital, took a tour of Austin City Limits at the Moody Theatre, then attended a concert there. Walked on the Boardwalk along Ladybird Lake. Had beer and brats at Scholz Garten. Raymond and Christy met us when we arrived, and got us settled in. Accommodations were excellent!

Perfect Weekend

This property was amazing! I really enjoyed the courtyard, and even though there are other homes in close proximity it still felt private and secluded. Walking distance to South Congress and the boardwalk was a plus. Would definitely stay here again!
