Great location, Old Property

I arrived to find the code didn't work. At the 3rd attempt, I finally got a text from the management company with a new code. The unit is in a 1970's vintage apartment complex. The whole complex looks like it needs an upgrade. All in all this is not a nice property. It has a window AC unit mounted in the wall (I could see daylight around the opening). The AC left the unit smelling of mildew and feeling a little damp. It was also loud and kept cycling on and off all night which didn't make for very restful sleep. The tub drain didn't drain well, and the bathroom had a funky smell. There was a bug in the coffee pot. I'm a fan of Vrbo and usually prefer it to a hotel. Probably won't be staying in this unit again. The location was excellent--just not the unit.

Affordable, comfortable, great location

Accommodations were exactly as advertised. The house was clean and comfortable; and the location to Barton Springs and Zilker Park were perfect. Having parking included in the stay is a HUGE plus!

I like that it was close by Barton Creek and close to walking and biking trails also real close to some great barbecue places. Easy to get around and walk to the City of Austin which is a great city.

Although the code to access the room didn't initially work, they were quick with providing a new one. The neighborhood is very nice and super close to downtown and Zilker Park which was perfect for our holiday plans. Definitely recommend this property for a small family, couple or afew group of friends. Only recommendation is providing a broom and dust pan to help keep floors clean during our stay.

Short vacation in Austin

The property was as advertised, and good value for the cost. This studio is in a quiet, residential neighborhood very close to Zilker Park. Access to the unit was easy, and it was clean and well stocked. In addition to the usual consumables, it was also stocked with salt, sugar, coffee, etc. No dishwasher, and the AC unit was a little loud. Overall a good place to stay. One drawback is that it is not within walking distance of the popular areas such as downtown, SoCo and Sixth & Rainey Streets. We had to Uber to these locations each day of our stay, and the costs added up. It would have been beneficial to have an automobile.

5 stars except the LOUD A/C

I, personally, have minimal issues with this property. My spouse, however, kept waking up when the AC compressor would kick on. Finding alternative locations to stay near downtown Austin the day of a vacation is very difficult, so we had to just deal with the "tired headaches" during our rare days off. Neither of us were in the best of moods for this trip. Property manager was unable to repair the AC himself. Maintenance never showed. No more wall unit AC equipped properties for me.

Walkable & perfect location!

Perfect location to be near Barton Springs, the Violet Crown Trail, Zilker Park, Lady Bird Lake/Hike & Bike Trail, and the Barton Springs area - you can walk everywhere! Or rent bikes. Good restaurant & food truck choices, plus a little market. The property is quiet, small, efficient, and comfortable, plus has easy parking - perfect for home base! It had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here!
