Calm & clean Hotel.... would stay again... still to improve breakfast a little bit

It was perfect location and clean - great breakfeast

The staff was very friendly! The bed was very comfortable and clean. I just felt for the money paid, the overall cleanliness of my room should/could have been better - carpet is long overdue to be replaced or at the very least a good steam cleaning. I would stay here again, just perhaps request an updated room next time. Other than that I had no complaints.

Nice hotel walking distance to the Congress bridge bat colony, 6th Street and Congress St. shops and restaurants. Great location. No parking unless you want to fork out a lot ($35) for valet parking, otherwise city lots or street parking overnight. No cookies, like some Hamptons have. :( Registration staff were young, friendly, but gave us wrong info about where to find restaurants and bars. we walked a long way in the rain getting lost... :( -- a lot of areas were closing down in preparation for South by Southwest, a local music fest that takes over the downtown area. Regisgration folks should be up-to-date about events such as this, that will majorly impact comings and goings in the downtown area. Otherwise good breakfast and comfy room. Very pricey, as are all hotels in the downtown area.

The breakfast area was spacious and pleasant, including an outdoor balcony. The hotel had free coffee available all day, and a free happy hour at 5 P.M. The room was very quiet, despite the hotel being full. The air conditioner worked well, and there were plenty of convenient electrical outlets for charging electronic devices. The free wi-fi worked well. Be aware that the beds are tiny, smaller than queen size. The location was good, close to the river and to the Convention Center. Historic Sixth Street is a pleasant walk away, and Gus's Chicken is across the street. There was a pool, but no hot tub.

The world's smallest queen size beds and thin cheap linens that did not cover the mattress made sleeping uncomfortable. A better use of money that the hotel spent on free drinks and chips would be higher-quality sheets. Americans really don't need free chips. Otherwise, the room was spacious, because the beds were so small. The free breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, waffles, and yogurt. There was a coffee maker in the room, and free coffee was available on the second floor. In the evening, free lemonade was served.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites for 3 nights while attending a conference at the Austin Convention Center. It was a short, convenient walk to the convention center, making it easy to pop back to your hotel during a lunch break if necessary. My room was very clean, modern, and very comfortable, and I had a nice view. I used the fitness center one day, and that was also quite nice. The service was excellent, too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi in my room was kind of slow and not very stable, but it was free. The room service options weren't great. The options were a very expensive steakhouse or a moderately expensive Chinese food restaurant, and both closed before 11 p.m., making it hard to get food and/or wine if you had a late flight or late meetings, which I had 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. There were lots of nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, though. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're attending a conference at the convention center nearby.

Exceeded Expectations. Very nice finishes. Great Location, close to 6th, nice Restaurants, and close enough to Zilker/ the river.

Valet Parking was excellent until last day (check out) when it took more than 30 min to get the car. It was ay noon .... very busy time. Front desk, the girls did an excellent job, it was quick and they were very nice. Breakfast was very good, service was not as nice as the rest of the crew. Didn't get room cleaning the first day, after that, we asked not to do it untill we left (we spend 2 nights at the hotel)

Great Location and access to downtown. I intend to all ways stay at this hotel when in Austin.

The rooms were very nice, clean and included a refrigerator. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The valet's were awesome!! The hot breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony after our breakfast. We were able to walk to everything downtown including 6th street.

great hotel, location, easy to walk to dining the the convention center.

The staff was very nice at this hotel. The rooms were clean and decent size. It was a great location and our room was facing the street so although it was good people watching since it was during ACL and Comic Con, it was a bit noisy at night but since it's a good location, I didn't mind the noise as much.

Stayed her for a girls weekend and we couldn't ask for more. Location is perfect - blocks away from the heart of the "dirty six", walking distance to trendy Rainey Street and great restaurants and bars everywhere in between. Room was extremely clean and service was great. The pool is on the small side but works to cool off from the heat. The front desk was very helpful in recommending places to go and were very responsive when we needed more towels and when the hair dryer broke (new one installed in minutes). I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to enjoy downtown Austin.

This hotel is perfect. Close to S Congress and close to 6th St. Very clean and excellent staff.

Everything was great and the staff was very friendly. Really close to 6th street

This was great a hotel and will definitely get my business on my next trip to Austin. I was in town to support a friend riding the in MS 150. I arrived way early for check in and fortunately the hotel was able to accommodate me checking in 5 hours early. The room was superb! Great size, nice layout and thanks to having a corner unit a great view. We were in walking distance of numerous great restaurants and bars. The only down side was paying $25 to park my car at the hotel, wish there was a better deal for guest especially if I'm paying $200 for the room already. Also the bed wasn't the most comfortable but ill admit I'm spoiled by my pillow top mattress at home.

I was in Austin for a Bit Coin conference for work for 2 nights. The hotel was in a great location. There were all kinds of restaurants outside our door. All the bars on 6th street are a short walk away. The Handle Bar on 5th street is an interesting bar nearby with a Bit Coin ATM. This hotel is also a short walk to Rainy Street where all the locals say to go. The room was clean, no complaints there. The staff was courteous and helpful. I forgot my key in my room one morning and the attractive front desk agent gladly gave me another key after showing her my drivers license.

Great location. Easy to get everywhere downtown. Clean and comfortable room.

Nothing bad to say about this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Can't get any closer to downtown. Quick walk over the bridge to great food and fun shops.
