I booked a suite. There was still water in the sink which wasn't draining when we arrived. Looked like it had been sitting there for days as it was dirty and had a sticky film over it. Told the front desk about it and they told me to plunge it. Seriously? I didn't pay $200/night to plunge a sink. Just the idea of having a plunger next to the coffee machine just grossed me out thinking about it. The front desk agent then volunteered to plunge it. I kindly declined and asked for another suite. When I went downstairs to get my new key card, there was another guest complaining about shower pressure in their room. I thought for a second, am I at Motel 6? When I arrived to the new room, there was hair in the bathroom, a white stain on the couch, and mismatched lights in the bedroom. Can't make this up. I'm still wondering just what the heck was going on. Do not stay here.
Clean, comfortable and with essentials (fridge, microwave) and spacious for family of 5.
One night we asked the front desk where to go eat for dinner that wasn’t real expensive. He could tell me any where. He couldn’t even tell me what was around the area.
Great service and nice rooms and facility! Thanks!
Everything was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. They had a variety to chose from. The hotel bar was small but great to sit and have a few drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Perfect location for our Austin visit. The hotel lobby and rooms are beautiful. The front desk staff was very helpful. It is right next to the highway. So, you will hear traffic noise if you are on that side of the building.
No extras/no pool spa etc. Breakfast could have been better
it was under remodling therefore it's hard to judge the apperance also they will not let me enter my Marriott number because I book through Orbits!
we make 5 days reservations, i like to make another 2 days more but the price increase almost 80 % and i decided find another hotel, the room are okey but the sofa bed disturb the pass in the room that is not to big like saying,
Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Spacious rooms. Great for family trips.
The Spring Hill Suites by Marriott NW Arboretum offers affordable accommodations for business, couples, family, and friends. These spacious rooms are cheerfully decorated in modern color palettes that create a relaxing retreat from a day of sightseeing and shopping adventures. This hotel is located in a quite nook right off the freeway and extremely close to the Domain and several dining options. A friend and I selected this location as a base to see various sights around the TX Hill Country. We spend a day at Pedernales Falls State Park and stopped by West Cave Preserve in Dripping Springs. The rest of our time was spent shopping and exploring Austin! Altogether, it was an excellent stay with a perfect room (322).
Room size is good and room is clean. Furniture is nice. Water pressure is too low on shower. No toothpaste nor shower hat. Location is too close to the power lines. Swimming pool water is not comfortable, pool is too small.
Spent one night while traveling thru Texas but I can honestly say it was the best nights sleep I had the entire trip. Room was very nice, bed extremely comfortable. Indoor pool was very relaxing. Staff was great, only downside was the breakfast crowd. There were a large number of guests at breakfast and no place left to sit. Ended up skipping breakfast and picking up something on the road. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, stocked and ready when we arrived. The location is of this site is great, but it does require a little rerouting of the directions you will be given by your onboard navigation. Room service is not yet available at this location and ordering out will require some patience. All in all though it a clean, quite location perfect for a family overnight rest!
We stay @ this hotel every time we go to Austin because it is clean, nice staff,
Nice hotel and great location. There are several restaurants, bars, and shopping in the immediate area.
Great service Good location Room was very comfortable. Close by stores restaurants close to major freeway
Room was clean, location convenient. No surprises. What we would expect from the Marriott brand.
Breakfast is not your ordinary continental. Pretty good stuff. Staff was friendly. Hotel seems remodeled. Good value.
