Nice, affordable, spacious. Great place if you're staying several days.

This was a really nice hotel, just outside of Austin. The area has lots of fun bars and restaurants. I definitely would recommend.

I only stayed here for one night but it was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again when i come back.

We've stayed here 2 years in a row for about a month, while visiting family. The location is perfect for us - & within walking distance of Panera, Whole Foods, Target, Sam's & more restaurants. We like the fitness room & its equipment - and the free laundry. We get a suite with a separate bedroom, to accommodate 2 very differnet sleeping habits.

They charged my card twice!! Now it's taking forever to get my money back. But the hotel was nice only negative is is make sure they don't charge you twice and you will have a good stay.

Roomy and comfortable. In town for a family wedding. It was convenient and roomy and clean. We had no issues. The staff was very helpful. Could use a pool.

Employees were very nice & efficient. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff willing to help out with whatever is needed. They have a great workout facility as well as 24/7 store for late night snacks. The room was clean and comfortable!

Stayed for three nights, room was non smoking but there was a certain smell (tobacco smell) in the room that lingered for the stay. If I had a better room experience overall it would have been above average but it was only average. Close to everything, as convenient as any of the other 15 hotels in the area and priced right.

stay was fine. No issues other then a very limited number of tv channels other then news and infomercials. Very few shows and no movies channels that I could find

I was expecting an oven in the kitchenette but there was not one, so the food I brought could not be eaten. And the frozen "entrees" available on site was limited to Hot Pockets OR Lean Cuisine TV dinners, and as I hate TV dinners, I went without, which proceeded to screw up my entire evening later, as it was New Years Eve. But the sheets were nice, the pillows big and fluffy. Shampoo and soap were the only offerings in the bathroom, and I needed lotion. Toothpaste was available for only 50 cents. They did however offer a free DVD library and the room came with a DVD/CD player. would recommend. A very nice, clean place for the money.

I had a nice quiet stay, there are maybe 6 hotels in a half mine radius in this location, the others were always booked or too expensive. Would stay here again

I was in the room by the front desk, ask for another room if you're given 115...it's very noisy (especially in the morning). Take a shower early, I ran out of hot water at 7:00am.

free laundry in hotel which is a plus for me with a group of 4... decent helpful staff ..if you stay more than a day.. you can request room cleaning..or otherwise it is once a week since it is a extended stay hotel. More conviences than a normal hotel except it is missing the "pool" factor. free dvd/vcr in room, rentals at front desk

Friendly staff, great location, and great value. However, rooms are a little out of date.

The hotel was wonderful and would strongly recomend for long stay trips. My only complaint was we wanted a smoke free room and couldnt get one and that was frustrating.

The hotel is located in North side of Austin, TX, just across the street from the hotel is a shopping mall clothing goods, food (e.i. Whole Foods grocery store, restaurants, etc...),movie theater, and easy access to Highway 1(located on the east) or Highway 183 (located on the West). The room is actually a studio apartment equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, no shower (had to fill the tub with water). The exercise room was excellent. There's a self-serve laundry room with a food pantry to the side with groceries you can purchase (attached labels) to cook inside your room. The room only had basic cable, unable to order movies, but they have DVDs and VHS tapes at the main office of you are interested in watching a specific movie outside of regularly scheduled TV programming. The staff was not too friendly and they do not clean your room on a daily basis to change the sheets or pick up your wet towels off the floor (so hang them to dry), unless you specifically request that daily, but not sure if they'll charge you extra for cleaning daily. Overall: Great experience, but the broken shower really made it difficult to bathe every time.

We were in Austin for a College Rowing Competition. Candlewood was close to the Mo Pac Bridge which is where we observed the race but a little too far from where our athletes were staying for the event.

Loved the location! Was in the center of everywhere I needed to go, yet tucked back off of the road. The kitchen was fully stocked for two and we found a grocery store right down the road. We had breakfast, lunch and snacks in our hotel room, and saved our money for nice dinners out on the town. If we would have had more time, there is even full sized BBQ pits we had full access to. The best part was the movie library and DVD player. Our days were long so when we got back to the hotel we'd pick up a (free) movie at the front desk and lay in bed to watch it!

I took my family to Austin to scout it out for a possible relocation. We chose this Candlewood Suites for its location. We found the hotel to be institutional in appearance. Not a warm and inviting exterior. Inside the facility was clean and adequetly decorated. The room was very comfortable for me, my wife, and two children. From a safety point of view the exterior lights over the enterance doors at either end of the building were both burnt out and remained that way for the duration of our 3 night stay.
