Lady at the desk was really nice. It's a standard hotel room, clean, wifi, and basic breakfast. My first night someone was playing loud music at 3AM so I called the first desk. She handled the situation extremely fast. Overall this hotel is OK! $63 / a day is really good for this area. 5-10 minutes from base.
Evacuating for Hurricane Matthew and would rather face the storm than stay in this room another night!! Heavily worn and old. Toilet ran all night, the bolts were rusted and sticking up. None of the room amenities that were listed were present. NO towels... when they brought them only 2 (3 of us there). Fridge was dirty, freezer iced over. TV had 2 volumes... very high or very low. Smell of smoke was embedded in room. Possible mold had us all congested. Beds VERY uncomfortable and couldn't get an extra pillow. So bad I spent the night searching GA, SC, and NC for a different place to stay and in the morning we drove 5 hours to a nice clean place!!!
Stayed here for the Masters, and was pleasantly surprised. They weren't too overly priced, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful especially their front desk clerk I believe her name was Olivia. Everyone here is super friendly, keep up the good work. I'll definitely be back next year!
This hotel advertises itself as being in West Augusta. It isn't it is in South Augusta off Gordon Hwy which if you are are unfamiliar with the geography of Disgusta is the ghetto. And this place must be the armpit of the ghetto. I swear there was prostitution and drug dealing going on here. LOud banging on doors at all hours of the night. Police called to premises repeatedly. K'd feel dafer staying at the Bates Motel than this dump. Steer clear.
Obviously I'm a sucker for cheap hotels and I emphasize the word cheap! The king room was spacious and included a microwave, 32" flat screen and a near full sized ridge and coffee maker. Missing or stolen was a bible, iron and board, alarm clock. The remaining furniture (circa late 80's) was beat up and would make great kindling. All mirrors and windows were extremely filthy as well as the carpet. There was only two working lights: one of the two bedside lamps and the bathroom. The toilet needed reattached to the floor and the shower drained very slowly and was missing attachments. The air unit's filter/screen was caked with a suspect material and smelled rank. Location wise it's easily accessible and is within range of local attractions, convenience stores and major shopping malls. Overall it's decent for ghettotel, so if you chose to stay just hide it as a dirty secret. One odd thing though is that neither a pen and note pad was supplied nor available even upon request.
Found this place as a Price line special with a good rate. Check in was a little slow, however clerk was very friendly. Got a double room with a microwave and a full sized fridge. Overall a comfortable room, would consider staying again.
I booked a room here for 6 nights, the first day I drove up and there were four sheriff cars out front. The officer and the girl at the front desk assured me it was nothing serious like drugs, just a domestic disturbance (!) I only stayed three out of my six nights before checking into a different hotel because every night there was a different disturbance. People yelling and banging on door, more sheriff vehicles the second day I stayed. I booked this place because of the low price and it might have been alright for one night's stay, but I am a single female and I travel alone. This hotel felt extremely unsafe as even the locks on the door were rickety.
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. It was the only hotel we could book last minute for the Masters Golf Tournament, and we got gouged for $275 per night. Regular room rate is $39 per night. We arrived too late to find alternative lodging, so we unfortunately did have to stay for one night of our 4 night reservation. Left as fast as we could the next morning. Not safe. The entire property is run down beyond words. I would not sentence my worst enemy to a single hour in this hotel. Don't even think about it, at any price!!!
My family and I stayed here for a few weeks and we very much enjoyed our stay. It was very affordable considering all that was available to us. Pool, wifi, breakfast everyday, and housekeeping on a daily basis. This was very convenient for us because some extended stay places only come in for housekeeping once a week, so it was nice having a clean room everyday. The Front Office staff were amazing, so friendly, accommodating, and they got to know us on a first name basis. If I'm in the area again in need of a place to stay, I would definitely return here.
My Family Members from up north choose this hotel for the second time to have our Family reunion and my Aunt's 90th Birthday day celebration! The rooms were nice and clean and the Housekeeping and Front Office staffs are just so friendly and accomodating. When we stepped into our room, it was nice and cold, which was great because we had just travelled from Florida. All rooms have mini kitchens with a full size refidgerator, counter space if you want to sit and have breakfast or dinner, and the beds were nice and fresh.
