Convenient and good value. Some minor maintenance issues in the room but otherwise all in good order. Perhaps could be improved with bundled free wifi. I'd be completely happy staying here in the future.
Besides location I would not stay there again if I am booking myself for a personal trip with work I will be requesting another venue as the traffic kept me awake and the bed was so uncomfortable to sleep on a single bed
Room wasn't clean, headboard was loose so banged against the wall whenever I turned over in bed, shower wasn't clean :( there was toothpaste stuck to the tiles, wore my socks to go to the bathroom. T.v. worked when it wanted to, but that wouldn't generally bother me
Clean and comfortable. Great location handy to the waterfront. Good price compared to other similar properties. Room was adequate for short term stay. Pool and sauna are a bonus in a property of this price. Would certainly stay again when visiting Auckland.
Great place to stay. Its very close to city and easy to find. Importantly, there is a great bakery just around the corner, open early till late. Its only a very short walk to the viaduct area and the restaurants and the wharf area to catch ferries to the wineries.
Would stay here again, within walking distance to everything in City Centre for shopping and close to alot of restaurants to eat at. We payed to park our car, i advise you to pre pay in advan ce as there were very limited parking spaces for the amount of rooms that they have.Cosy studio room and good views harbourside also. Loved out night away, it wasnt long enough though.
I stayed during the busiest week of Aucklands year and for the price and level of comfort I have nothing but praise. My room was on the 10th floor and seemed to be a 1 bedroom apartment. It was huge, fully equipped, modern, warm and quiet. I can't praise it highly enough. I didnt eat breakfast I think you're close enough to plenty of options, but I did check out the pool and gym both looked excellent.
Free parking and central location made this a great stopover for us. Free WiFi and a very good shower also helped. Didn't have time to use the pool or gym facilities but a longer stay would have made these attractive.
Stayed on 2nd floor, sure we had road/city noise, but not enough to cause sleep disruption. Rooms small, but clean, and ours looked refurbished. Initial bed layout was wrong (one big bed) but we were quickly switched to a room with the right one (2 small beds). Pool was nice enough, just a lap pool though, so not that great for kids. Spa pool nice and warm, but lacked decent jet bubbles. Breakfast was included in rate, OK, range of cereal/cold meats, pastries. Did have to pay extra for hot chic though. Would stay again.
Picked Grand Chancellor because the room was discounted but would definitely stay here again. The room was not huge but ok. Very clean and staff helpful. Carparking expensive but that is Auckland. Overall very good.
