Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City

Recent guest reviews

Good room located walking distance from downtown. The room was good, no issues.

The hotel was pretty good overall. Location wise it is perfect, since downtown is only few minute walk. The room was clean, but could use a bit of refreshing. One thing that I did NOT like was that the charge for the WiFi was way too much and a bit ridiculous to charge guests for an internet connection, when there are tons of spots/cafes in the city that offer free internet.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is located near the bay and close to many shops and restaurants. The room seemed to have an older feel, as the bedding, furniture, etc were old. But the staff was excellent and the location was great.

But as it seems the usual in every hotel in NZ, no free wifi. Also a bad but pricey breakast. However, the convenient location and amzing views make this hotel worth it.

Hotel location is prime. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was great for the location and hotel quality. I would stay here again if I were visiting Auckland.

Friendly staff. Good accomodations. Great deal

a disappointment from the word go. This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. It was not.

This hotel was primarily just a place to stay when visiting with family in Auckland. It was very nice, a great location that enabled us access to the Viaduct and Queen Street. However, there is a problem with parking. Not only do they charge, but also they didn't have any parking available at the hotel. (Had to pay for public parking close by).

Great location, clean appointed rooms
