It was a nice big room and quite comfortable. There was a small breakfast with coffee, oj and apple juice, 2 kinds of cold cereal and oatmeal packets, toast, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs. I was happy with it, but a heartier eater might not get full. There was a pool which ...
The overall experience was somewhat better than we expected given its out-of-the-mainstream location. The only disappointing feature was that while soundproofing for noise from the first floor was as good as expected, were heard more noise than expected from the room above us. Overall the room was ...
The good first: There were no bedbugs or any bugs that I noticed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The price was great. The location was perfect for what we needed (continuing on I80 out of Iowa) The bad: The room smelled horrible. The pillows smelled the same. The free breakfast was cereal ...
Very pleasant staff. A/C worked well, which was great since it was hot outside. Right off the freeway. Great for an overnight stay if traveling. Had a fridge and microwave. No coffee pot, which was disappointing. Convenience stores with gas close by. Worth what we paid for the night. The towels were softer then the last place we stayed at.
Room was clean. Towels skinny and missing wash cloth. Wifi awful. It was quiet and felt clean.
There was a pool which was very clean, and there is a computer and printer that you can use. The AC in the room was quite noisy. The mattresses were good, but I am used to a more firm mattress. Everything was clean and plenty of lighting in the room. I was there for 3 days, and parking was right outside one of the 3 doors to enter the motel.
While road tripping East on I -80 we stayed at cobblestone Inn, we were plesently surprised at the cleanliness and hospitality, so we booked the same Inn for the trip home. My daughter left her fit bit in the room and when we arrived home I called cobblestone and they promptly mailed it to me. Super nice fellow at the front desk.
