Newer building, pretty clean. Paint was chipping off in the shower. Close to fast food. The small sports bar across the street had great food. Cost was probably double what it should have been, likely due to not having comparable hotels in the area.

The owner and crew here seem to have there act together. Fine economic lodging on interstate. This location even has an adjoining restaurant/pub to grab a quick bite to eat when staying.

Would stay here again if ever in this part of Iowa.
Very nice room and it was decorated very nice. They had a fire so the pool area was gone.

Bugs in the bathroom, blood on the shower curtain, you could feel all the springs in the bed and by the amount of debri on the floor, I don’t think it’s been vacuumed in awhile. The AC didn’t really work. Definitely not Covid clean. Excessive trash surrounding the property.

This was a very quiet and enjoyable stay. I wanted peace and quiet and that's what I got. The breakfast was amazing. Barbara was a very congenial and helpful proprietor. Would recommend it to anyone who wants: unique, quiet, and a restful experience. Loved the "old time" feeling. Not a cold and unassuming ...
