This property needs to be remodeled. For the rate of the room there should be better amenities provided. They offer breakfast but didn't have enough to serve all guests. When making reservation I was told the was a 24 hour check in, that didn't occur due to hotels policy of 11 a.m. check in. I was thoroughly disappointed with the service and condition of the hotel.
The worst hotel we ever stayed in! The room was supposed to be non smoking it wasn’t the smell of weed was so strong in the room it was dirty lock on door was busted went to office and the smell of weed was even stronger in there absolutely terrible experience not to mention all the shady stuff that was going on outside
So dirty and smelly, lots of cockroaches would never come to this place anymore

I stayed at the hotel for one night for my weekly visit to Atlanta. When I was taking a shower, I seen a roach crawling my way on the floor...eew! I was in the bed during the morning before checkout when room service knocked on the door. They said it was checkout time but they were an hour early. Overall bad experience.

Traveling thru, so we just needed a place to sleep that would accept our cat. We read reviews and knew it was a two-star, but since we're not fussy travelers, the price was good. We expected cleanliness and that was about all we cared about for that one night stay. After we made the non-refundable reservation, though, an acquaintance warned us against Forest Park. Said it was a dangerous place, etc. So with trepidation, we stayed anyway. Guess what? It was FINE! The grounds are nice and clean, the staff was super-friendly, the room was a bit rundown from age, but definitely clean. There was no shampoo in the room, but that could have been remedied if I wasn't too tired to go to the front desk. We had a sound night's sleep. We missed breakfast because we slept so late, but the guy at the desk managed to find us an orange juice and a sweet roll anyway. Would we stay there again? Sure. It was "cheap, but clean" as my husband says.
Not bad except, I got back to my room after a few hours out to find only one bed made up, trash cans in the middle of the floor, in fact it looked like someone started cleaning and never finished, unless they only offer 50 percent cleaning (LOL) I would go back. ..
