This hotel gave us a warm welcome. Taxis queue outside the hotel which are cheap. Triple room was spacious. Cocktails in the rooftop bar were too strong to enjoy. Pool was lovely. Breakfast was great selection of buffet Good location near to paramou metro.
Stayed at this hotel for 1 week. Hotel is nice, room are big, bit outdated but fine. Lobby downstairs is lovely. Room high up has good view. Good coffee shops etc. Pool floor is nice. Overall would stay her again
Location is quite good as there are a lot of shops around. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are very basic and have a dated look. There are no amenities like electric kettle, complimentary tea/coffee etc., the mini bar was also empty. The TV was an outdated CRT one. There is no free Wi-Fi in the room and they charge €12 per day and €20 for 2 days. However the lobby has free Wi-Fi but that too . Breakfast spread is decent and food was tasty but the area is too small and overcrowded. There is a Pool & bar at the 20th floor which we liked somewhat. Overall it's a 3 star experience at most.
The rooms were clean and the size was pretty good. Our rooms were on the 14th floor with a good view of the city. Though we didn't get time to use the open air bar, we did have a look at it. It was beautifully lit at night and gave a wonderful view of the city. The bathrooms were neat and had enough space. The breakfast had a wide variety of food. Overall a good stay!
I arrived there with 2 of my friends on the 29th of June. The hotel is located in the centre. You can find a lot of coffee shop in the same street (even starbucks!), bakeries, supermarkets, bus stops, and the metro station is only 5 to 10 minutes away. Location was perfect. As for the hotel service, it was perfect. Everything was clean and staff was very helpful. Breakfast area is really big and the food was tasty. And at last but not least, the rooftop pool! We went up there everyday! The view was awesome, drinks at the bar up there where perfect, water was always clean, and each time we went up the staff provides you with 2 towels and makes sure to find you a good seat. The price in comparison to the location of the hotel is very fair. Thank you for the pleasant stay!
Dirty rooms and dirty bath towels. Unhelpful and rude reception staff with major attitude!! No mini bar in the rooms! Do not recommend it!! Please note that this is the first time i bothered writing a review for a hotel!!
Terrible hotel in this day and age ... dirty rooms , AC weak in this heat and no tea coffee station in the rooms !!! Unhelpful reception staff with major attitude ... had to buy water and no room service after 12 pm !!! Only the rooftop bar and pool were good but even there the life guard was like a policewoman ... do not recommend at all
Lobby appeared semi decent, pool area was small but somewhat decent. Service was terrible. Upon entering the hotel, it appeared somewhat updated. Once we checked into our room, it looked worn and old. We didnt even want to walk on the floors barefoot and slept with our travel blankets because the linens were just disgusting. The lamp that is suppose to be screwed to the wall fell on my head when at 4am and woke me up. I told the front desk and they did nothing. The lady didnt even apologize. We were scheduled to go back after our island tour and ended up changing hotels. This hotel would get zero stars from me and I will never return.
So I checked into this hotel and the entranced seemed quite inviting, The decor was nice. Adding to this decor was the fact that this was the only place to access free internet. The elevators were tiny, the carpet in the corridors had the ancient ruins smell( old). Entering the room wasn't any better. Everything seemed so old. The bathroom in my room had a shower that was a challenge to get out of, since the toilet seemed to almost be connected to it. Views from the 13th floor were half scenic and half city view ( not). Despite these seemingly negatives, there definitely were positive for staying at this hotel. The President Hotel was definitely close to the train station, along with taxi availability. But one of my absolute favorite things was the roof top bar and lounge. It had a 360 degree view of the city, inclusive of the topography and the Aegean Sea, We were able to see the best sunset ever. In my opinion if your're looking for a just enough to get by place to stay with excellent views and proximity to transportation, then The President Hotel is a great choice.
Stayed for one night as a rest point before flying home to Australia. Hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable with pillows and bed soft and cozy. We requested a cot for our baby & it arrived with lovely warm sheets. Only negatives is that you only get free wifi in lobby not rooms plus the breakfast restaurant was over crowded and chaotic with food not great. Still good value for what we paid.
