6th floor back-facing rooms best and give a view of the Acropolis Excellent staff: from George(doorman) to Eva (reception) & housekeeping & breakfast staff we engaged with. (thank you Eva! for making our stay so memorable with room 622). Marvelous spacious room: and sofa was a particularly most welcome extra to relax after long days of sight-seeing. Bed and pillows enormously comfortable. Re-set air-conditioning and temperature setting before going to sleep, otherwise room can get uncomfortably hot and disturb sleep...whilst opening window allows mosquitoes to enter.

Location was average not really sure why its location was rated so high, rooms were nice enough although we paid for the coffee machine in an executive room however there was no milk so pointless really, bathroom was shocking plug wouldn't work and when you look underneath to see if you could get it working it was taped together, breakfast was pretty horrible, cold and tasted like it sat there for 2 hours. Housekeeping lady was lovely and room was spotless, porter was ever so helpful too.

The hotel was lovely, staff were very welcoming and gave lots of leaflets with info on arrival. Room was a decent size, nice to have a little sofa to sit on. Bath room was clean and modern. There was a view of the Acropolis from the room but it was quite far and a bit of a rough view in front of that. Breakfast was pretty standard buffet, lots of options but not amazing quality, it was included in the price. Did get busy, especially on the weekend understandably. The roof top pool is an absolute gem, one of the best views in a hotel I’ve stayed in. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and nice view of the Acropolis. It’s one of the tallest buildings for a while. The food and drink at the bar was quite expensive at the hotel. The restaurant on the roof also wasn’t amazing quality but the view was worth it. Staff were also lovely at the bar/restaurant. Hotel has a small gym, can’t say I used it other than to go in and use the water machine. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard. The area is horrible, obviously nothing to do with the hotel but it’s not great, more so at night, had one scary walk and decided to use Uber’s from there on out but they are very cheap out there, average journey was about €3-5 euros. Overall a nice stay.

We came to this hotels and had a lovely visit, we had to change to another hotel because we took a tour and had a reservation at another hotel. By far Novotel was much better, clean, staff is friendly. Has a good location. Would definitely recommend

Helpful and friendly morning welcome check in on 3 Feb, arriving after 11 hour flight. Comfortable bed and modern, albeit small room. Usual Novotel bathroom amenities except no toothbrushes Fast wifi as plutonium Accor member was excellent One of the best 4 star hotel breakfasts I’ve ever come across. In many ways better than some 5 star hotels A shame the roof bar was not open. Surely they could invest in some patio heaters? I wandered down to Vathis in the evening for a beer. The neighborhood is improving. No rough sleepers immediately outside the hotel this time. The nearby area from Vathis to Omonia is still a bit edgy. Merkelistan in all its glory. Unfortunates openly shooting up or doing the crack etc in the street, 10 euro hookers and some very dodgy geezers. It’s enough to put some people off an evening stroll. Another reason to sort the roof bar.

Good Breakfast, Cleanliness and Room Service Novotel provides a comfortable stay at a good price. The location is great just a 5-minute walk of the nearest Metro Station. Clean which is very important to me, good breakfast and the view from the roof top just perfect for an afternoon drink!

It is what I expected, the normal novotel, Good staff, room clean, everything working, not gar away from the city attractions (about 5EUR by uber), I would stay again I did not try the ffod on restaurant, but was looking good, I will try next time

This Novotel provides all the facilities and confort level you’d expect - clean and spacious rooms, but a bit worn out probably by high occupancy throughout the year, pool, bar & restaurant, plenty of choices for breakfast, but pretty much the same if you spend several days there, a nice and welcoming staff. It features a souvenir shop and two play areas for smaller and older kids. It’s location - although really close to a train station and several metro ones - is not really tourist friendly. Unkempt buildings, dirty streets and some homeless people gathered in the same places every night made us feel a bit uneasy as we were walking back in the evening, but nothing happened. There are several ethnic shops and fast foods near by if you need to buy stuff like water or sodas or something to eat.

Checked in online a few days before and when I reached the hotel the keys were ready and the checkin took a few minutes. The hotel is about 27 minutes walk from Syntagma square and there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by. The rooms are very nice and spacious and very neat and clean bathrooms. The staff spok every good English were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and the range was just fantastic. Hot and cold breakfast, lots of greek pastries, fruits and the coffee was good. The staff at the breakfast place were very friendly and helpful. They let me checkin few hours early and checkout couple of hours later. Even though it was low season because of winter I found that was very nice of them to accommodate. Overall a fantastic place with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely come back here and would highly recommend it to others.

The Hotel, staff, service, food is exceptional. You have to go to the rooftop pool. It has the most amazing view of the Acropolis. The rooms are well maintained and the decor is very modern. The only negative is the neighbourhood is a little run down,
