This was a clean, safe, and well located studio apartment that was perfect for my stay in Athens. Check in was easy, and communication with the host was excellent throughout the stay.
The room was set up like a simple studio apartment and comfortably accommodated two people. The bed was comfortable, and the updated bathroom was a highlight, offering both a rain shower head and a handheld shower. The handheld shower did not move, but once the water heater was turned on upon entering, the shower heated up well. Wi Fi was reliable, the air conditioning cooled the room quickly, and noise was not an issue during my stay.
Furnishings were modest and functional rather than luxurious. The unit included a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, basic utensils, and a small area to dry dishes, along with some coffee. There was also a TV and a full length mirror. Large windows opened to a wall and another window, so there were no views, but privacy was fine.
I felt very safe. Entry is secured by a wrought iron gate that locks around 9:00 p.m., and you are provided a key. There is a staircase and a small elevator with a four person maximum. One thing to note is that electricity turns off when you remove the key card, so devices cannot be charged while you are out. Also, as is common in Greece, toilet paper should not be flushed.
The location is ideal. You are minutes from the Acropolis and Monastiraki Square, with shopping and dining all around. There is an ice cream shop and a clothing
