The hotel is spotless!!! Clean, clean, clean. For cleanliness lovers this is the place. The breakfast was great.

Horrible experience after a long trip and problems with transportation. Awful service from a person in charge of the front desk!

We missed our flight and I called the front desk to let them know we were checking in late. The front desk assistant was not very pleasant. He was hard to understand over the phone. We finally arrived to the hotel and he was still hard to understand. He will talked and walked away.

Location was good, and the pricing was great. But I prob would pay a little more next time, because the place does seem to need repairs, some bug extermination, and some updates before I can recommend to a friend. On the plus side, the people seem generally nice (it seems like a family business) and they had food at the hotel.

No air-conditioning - family owned and they try to save money and turn it off. They pretend not to speak English and say it is controlled ' by machine'. Seriously? It was 70 degrees and no AC? I checked out in a few hours.

Once you get the know the old boy who runs the place you have a friend for life. take a kettle. tvs have TERRIBLE reception All the old japanese people were going to the 4star next door by the coach load for 15euro more.

Large basic room with 4 beds. free wireless internet. 2 min walk to metro. Pleasant staff. We were there for two nights and it was great for the value.

I know European hotels have a different standard, but one thing I think should be standard is an actual bed. My room had only 2 cots. Literally cots--on casters with a 4-in mattress. I didn't get 1 good night's sleep in the 5 nights I stayed. Also, no temperature control in the rooms. I was absolutely freezing despite sleeping in full pants and sweater, and they wouldn't turn the boiler on because guests in other rooms were too hot. WiFi in the lobby was reliable, but only worked in my room occasionally (and my room was only 20ft from the lobby). Staff was friendly and my room was always clean. Someone was available 24 hours, but that means they were making quite a bit of noise at random hours of the night, taking out the garbage and such. Location was good in that we could walk to the Acropolis, etc. but the neighborhood was scary and we felt like we had to be back in our rooms before dark. But honestly, pretty much the whole city of Athens feels that way. Room was good-sized, but the bathroom was tiny. Couldn't walk in without smacking my arm on the doorknob. Showerhead was cracked on both sides, so sprayed the entire bathroom no matter what angle I tried. Restaurant had large selection including numerous pizzas, but the food was not particularly tasty.

I dont think it is a good idea to be there, room was terrible, location is not bad but not good, no TV channels, remote not working, so noisy, not clean, no soap, dirt smelling towels

Good location to metro, OK breakfast. average overall.

How is this still a 3 star hotel?!? My experience was so unpleasant that although I paid for 3 nights, I left first thing in the morning and paid for another hotel down the street because I couldn't stand another moment here! And I only stayed the full night because I arrived at 11pm. First, that picture is false. This hotel, although close to the metro, is in a very shady part of town. There is a dumpster right in the front you can see from your window and grafitti everywhere. The staff looks miserable and are unpleasant to talk to. The bathroom reeks of mildew and mold. The sink is so low that you have to really hunch down to use it (and I'm only 5"2). A/C is critical in Athens in a the summer, and although they advertise it, it does not work. I think it does but they don't have the central control on. When I asked about the A/C, the staff told me they don't turn it on unless the building reaches 30 Celcius (86 F). THATS WAY TOO HOT TO SLEEP! The bed was uncomfortable and unclean. Our hot water did not work after 11pm. The tiny TV does not work. NOTHING WORKED! The wifi is limited to one device, for 2 hours..and it barely worked! It was so bad that after 5 minutes of being in the hotel we determined to leave despite already paying. Please don't stay here!!

Pluses: Very friendly ambience, helpful staff, English OK. Minuses: Internet was free, but very unreliable. Maybe not the hotel's fault? Location OK, but nowhere decent nearby to eat in the evenings. The bathroom/shower was not up to scratch. Repeat/Recommend? Not likely but had no significant issues. You get what you pay for I suppose.

The hotel was in a great location, because it was literally visible as we walked out of the metro station. We loved the location. Although it was notnear the city center (or we havent discovered what was nearby), the hotel was on the same metro line as Acropolis and within maybe 3 or 4 stops. We loved the accessibility of it. When it comes to the hotel itself, however, it looked great on the outside, but was fairly run down on the inside. The elevtar was oldschool, the chip card key didnt work, so we were given just a normal key, the AC did not work, and the shower water drained very slowly, so that it started overflowing in the middle of the shower. As for a place to stay though it was clean and oferred free breakfast and, most importantly, it is so close to the metro, you cant do much better than this.

A comfortable hotel with a convenient location to the red-line metro; not luxury or fancy, but it is clean and safe enough. The photos seemed to match the room in appearance. Street noise is a little loud, but did not keep us awake. We picked it based on price and it was agreeable (but we have lived and travelled in Africa). A solid pick for the budget minded but do not expect the small extras normally found at a more expensive hotel. We would feel comfortable staying here again.

near everything! Friendly staff. Clean and very cheap!

just great. centraly located, easy access to public transportation.

Simply the worst three star I've stayed at. The staff were rude, lazy, and often lied about things or tried to blame other guests. Everything turned off or broken and no apologies or attempt to fix things. Instead they would lie or insist everything was okay and it was somehow our (or other guests) fault. The amenities that award three stars didn't work or were turned off - the tv, fridge, aircon (and it was very warm - hence had to open windows and sleep through the noise and light). They refused to look at the aircon insisting it was cool enough not to need it. We just had to laugh at it all. We've stayed all over the world and been in worse - but generally you get what you pay for. We're easy going but I couldn't not write about this place. We found better, friendlier, and cheaper accomadation much closer to the acropolis. This area is noisy, dirty, and not a nice walking area at all. The positives - aside from shower grime, broken toilet seat, and broken floor tiles in the bedroom, it was generally clean. The breakfast is okay. Could not possibly recommend anything other than to stay away. Do

Noisy and disappointing The location is good. The site is under construction. The room is small. How small is it? The room is so tiny that you can hardly place the suitcase next to your bed. The bathroom has a tiny shower. You need to pull your stomach in to fit in the curtain. At night there were banging noises … We were disappointed that the hotel did not live up to its advertising info: there was No satellite T.V. (only Greek Chanels) and the hairdryer was not in the room. (You could get it on request from the reception). The breakfast included was O.K.

The first room we were given was separated from the other, the shower was gross, no safe, and the door didn't function correctly. We asked to be changed and we were moved to another room. It was with the other rooms and the shower was a little better. Overall the room is unpleasant to be in but the staff is nice enough. The metro ride to the Acropolis isn't far. I wouldn't say walking distance by any means though.
