Had a great stay here. Charis and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely big rooms with huge balconies, spotlessly clean and seemingly newly decorated. My partner and I loved the area - though I should note, the couple we were travelling with was less enthusiastic. If political graffiti isn't your thing, Exarchia probably isn't for you!

Newly renovated apartment in a relatively quiet neighborhood. 20 minutes walk to train station and 30 minutes to Acropolis. Very friendly staff.

This wonderful hotel is a "hidden gem"! Everything about it is first class! The rooms are gorgeous, everything works and the staff is super attentive! Special kudos to Lela Tzima the most amazing host with her special help on our six nights! She is also a great guide for sights and restaurants!

Charis was excellent in communicating with me about parking and any other questions on my stay. The room was upgrades top notch with every little detail. It even had a shoe shinning kit. I will definitely recommend the hotel. Don’t get discourage by the entrance, doesn’t say much but once inside.. you’ll love it.

Spacious, well-equipped stay with a great local vi

We really enjoyed our stay at Exarchia House Project. The rooms were very spacious, especially with the balcony, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, which made everything smooth and welcoming. At first glance, the area might seem off-putting due to the heavy graffiti, but it’s all part of the bohemian, alternative vibe that defines Exarchia. We ended up loving the neighbourhood-so many great restaurants nearby, and it was easy to access both the city centre and the port from here. A great choice if you want something a little different from the typical tourist zones.

My husband and I had a European adventure for our wedding and honeymoon. We visited 4 different cities and stayed at 4 different hotels in 3 weeks. This one was by far our best experience. We stayed here the longest and I’m glad we did. From the staff to the cleanliness, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for 2 weeks. The staff was so beyond inviting and helpful! The owner is so caring about everyone’s experience. Athens in general has a lot of graffiti and can look a bit run down but this hotel is a gem standing out among what it’s around. You enter into a different world walking in there. It’s beautiful! You won’t regret staying here!

I loved this place except we literally would not have known where entrance was until a couple came out and we asked them if that was the place. The neighborhood a little scary but very close to street where you would find bars, grocery, restaurants ,etc.
