Well, me and my partner only really wanted a bed for the night so we weren't bothered about the quality, but it was terrible! There was only one plug in the room and it was behind the head rest? So when I wanted a cup of tea I had to put the kettle on the bed??!! Breakfast was so basic, I wouldn't have it again and would go to town instead. The area around the hotel was so rough! I did not feel safe at all. If you want a very very basic place with a poor breakfast then it's fine for one night. There's a place down the road called Dorian inn, and the food, the people and everything about t was 5 times better than this.
The hotel was really not bad, clean and nice but the district where it is based is horrible aspecially at night, it is very dangerous. It is full of drug addicted people and immigrants in search of some fortune. Violent crimes in Greece are growibg in the proportion of crisis, we were afraid to get back home every evening. But if you already booked the hotel in this area i suggest you to usethe pubblic transposrt to reach your hotel and walk as less and possible.
Good hotel with the basic things. Beds could be improved, shower could be improved. Bathroom is too small so it's not for anybody! After a shower the whole bathroom fills up with water. For 1 night that we stayed it was all that we expected for! I will stay there again because of my business!
This is a Budget Hotel. Very cheap but very clean. Breakfast was ok. It was a good location for the places we wanted to visit but I did not feel safe as a woman, if I was to go out at night on my own. Alot of dodgy characters about after dark. Be careful.
3 minutes on foot to Omonia station, 30 minutes to Acropolis and 20 to Plaka. The rooms are super tiny but were functional for a 1 night stay. Will choose the Achillion close by over this for a lesser price.
The hotel is located very close to Omonia square. You get here very easy from the airport and also most of the city attractions are at 20 min walking. The hotel is clean but the bathroom is very small. For the thronson were we stayed (room 601) the bathroon door will not open completely because of the toilet. The view is depressing. I only recommend because of the good price and location.
I stayed with my friends for 2 nights and i had a wonderful surprise to find clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast and perfect neighborhood - very close to Omonia metro station (it is not the best area in Athens but is not dangerous as many said) and close to center of the city. It is not 5* hotel but it is the perfect hotel for tourists that don't have so much money. I recommend it and for sure i will visit it again. Loved it!
We stay there for 5 nights in September 2016, in two rooms. First of all this hotel is not pretending to be a 5 or even 4-star property - it is simply an outstanding budget hotel. Rooms were nice, AC was working great, staff members were nice and polite. Breakfast basic yet tasty. It is located literally 5 minutes from Omonia Metro Station and 20 minutes on feet from Acropolis. Yes, the neighborhood could be better but it is not the hotel fault. We really enjoy our stay and would recommend it without hesitation
Stayed for 5 nights. Room was clean and well decorated. It did smell of old cigarette smoke which was the only downside. Very good location to get to sights but it was a little rough! Lots of homeless etc but didn't have any problems! Breakfast was basic but good! Would recommend if your on a budget!
Let me start by saying, I don't like writing bad reviews. But I feel this is in the interest of the safety of the people staying here. The area of Omonia is not the best to stay in, we saw people doing drugs in the street and got offered drugs twice. Once at 10AM! This made me apprehensive about going back to the hotel late at night. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, but I thought I would advise. With regards to the hotel itself, I had cigerette burns in my bed spread and as it is a smoking hotel (which granted I didn't realise before we went, also not the fault of the hotel), which mean there was a stale smoke smell everywhere. There was also someone smoking in the room next to us, which was drifting into our room at 3AM. There was barely any ventilation and we didn't want to have our balcony door open over night, due to the aforementioned drug addicts in the area. The breakfast was nice, basic continental, which was good for the price we paid for the room. The gentleman at the desk was also very nice and accomodating. To conclude, it's fine for a basic hotel with a budget price, but if I were to do it again, I would pay a little more and get a hotel in a better area.
