Area is not pleasant at night. No problem during the day. Room in terrible condition. Air conditioner compressor noisy and kept us up all night. Beds not the same size. Toilet door could not open. Toilet brush filthy. Toilet-paper holder broken. Breakfast boring and plain. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Great little Hotel, plenty of shops around.Great tour bus from Omonia Square. The wheather was rainy and sunny.Breakfast was passable. The only downside of my stay at the Hotel was that the cleaners start too early.Maybe something to think about in the future.
The location was good for walking to cafes, shopping and near the underground metro. For the price, the hotel was good. They offered a daily free European breakfast. For more information, click on, lornashappytravels.com
My wife & I were very happy with our stay here. For the price you really can't ask for more. Clean rooms & comfortable beds. Staff very helpful with calling for taxis & helping in general. They sell tickets for the hop on/off bus & 3in1 day island tours here also. The area the hotel is situated in isn't the best but that's not something to blame the hotel for. We were perfectly safe coming back at anytime. It's only 5-7mins from Omonia metro station. Go right from reception then straight up the road. Breakfast was ok & eat as much as you want on a self service basis.
Clean, comfortable, nice and helpful staff, offers a satisfying breakfast, good located.Probably the best Price-Performance Ratio in the center of Athens! I would definetively recomend it and would visit it again for sure!
We booked the hotel through a popular platform barely looking at the rewievs, although it had a mediocre rating we had a budget and the proximity to city center seemed great. Now the " but": it has a bad bad location in a shady neighborhood, homeless pleople were everywhere, we felt very insecure although nothing bad happened, only people eye checking you. Back to the hotel, we stayed at the last floor, room was small but it had a nice big balcony. The view is
Good hotel near Agropoli and metro station in the center of city.Clean, but with small bathroom. Very good breakfast...! Kind service concierge. From this one you can walk most center of the city like syntagma, Agropoli, technopolis and Monastiraki...
The room was clean and recently renovated, with mini fridge, AC and WiFi. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast with limited choices, but OK. Bad view on the balcony. It is 5 minutes walk close to the subway Omonia but we wanted to see the town, so we chose to walk because it is close enough to all the turistic objectives. At the fisrt look, the surrounding area seemed dangerous: dirty and full of homeless people and many drug dealers and addicts too. We felt uncomfortable passing there as we saw drug addicts and dealers too. Because of the suroundings I don't recomended this hotel, even the hotel itself isn't bad at all.
Clean rooms, it was nice having A/C during the hot days of August in Athens. The personnel was neither nice nor rude: normal. International breakfast. Bad view on the balcony, close to the subway Omonia (like 5 mins walk). I recommend it for €45 by booking on booking.com! We had free wifi. To sum up it is quiet good.
The hotel itself is OK-ish, very nice staff, clean, good night sleep, quiet room with all you need, comfy bed, perfectly working AC, mini fridge, great WiFi. Room much smaller than in pics (not suited for longer stays or if you have lots of luggage), tiny bathroom, balcony has a horrible view (but if you smoke it's a plus). Breakfast - average, limited choices, but does the work. There are countless reviews about how bad the surrounding area is. And Yes, it is that bad and even worse. But you can avoid it if you want, by using the metro (area from hotel to metro is ok), taxi/uber, to get to the center. If you choose to walk, google maps takes you trough 2-3 alleys that are really really scarry: dirty, noisy, crowded. We felt uncomfortable walking there as we saw drug addicts and dealers, a street fight one evening and were even offered drugs. Location wise it's very central, close to Monastiriky (12 min walk). Despite the area, we choose to walk every day (both during the day and at 9-10 PM), did not use any transport during our stay and we were never in real danger. Maybe would choose another area if ever again in Athens or even better use the metro to get around. The area is worse during noon and evening and much quieter and feels safer in the early morning and at night. My advice: don't avoid this hotel because of the area, there are hundreds of hotels there, but do use the metro or taxi/uber to get around.
