Clean rooms, it was nice having A/C during the hot days of August in Athens. The personnel was neither nice nor rude: normal. International breakfast. Bad view on the balcony, close to the subway Omonia (like 5 mins walk). I recommend it for €45 by booking on! We had free wifi. To sum up it is quiet good.

The hotel itself is OK-ish, very nice staff, clean, good night sleep, quiet room with all you need, comfy bed, perfectly working AC, mini fridge, great WiFi. Room much smaller than in pics (not suited for longer stays or if you have lots of luggage), tiny bathroom, balcony has a horrible view (but if you smoke it's a plus). Breakfast - average, limited choices, but does the work. There are countless reviews about how bad the surrounding area is. And Yes, it is that bad and even worse. But you can avoid it if you want, by using the metro (area from hotel to metro is ok), taxi/uber, to get to the center. If you choose to walk, google maps takes you trough 2-3 alleys that are really really scarry: dirty, noisy, crowded. We felt uncomfortable walking there as we saw drug addicts and dealers, a street fight one evening and were even offered drugs. Location wise it's very central, close to Monastiriky (12 min walk). Despite the area, we choose to walk every day (both during the day and at 9-10 PM), did not use any transport during our stay and we were never in real danger. Maybe would choose another area if ever again in Athens or even better use the metro to get around. The area is worse during noon and evening and much quieter and feels safer in the early morning and at night. My advice: don't avoid this hotel because of the area, there are hundreds of hotels there, but do use the metro or taxi/uber to get around.

From my personal experience, the manners of the Epidavros Hotel staff was since the very beginning pretty rude and completely unhelpful. I booked one more night by mistake but when trying to do something about it and change the reservation, they told me they could not change it as it was done by some other platform. Not only made I the reservation just through the hotel reservation page but they were also extremely rude through email. In the last one I got, they started to call me “Sir” when I introduced myself as a woman in the first place and they replied a “That’s the way Internet works!!!” as if they were shouting me and calling me stupid. I finally did not have other choice but to lose that paid night. And what a waste of money… Even for the other paid nights. The hotel is in a quite creepy area, totally inadvisable to have a walk around at night. Our room was tiny, with an uncomfortable bed and a bleached blanket. Not exactly what you would think a hotel room would look like. Not to mention the way too short shower curtain which caused floods everytime it was used… Also the walls were so paper-thin that my husband needed to buy earplugs to stand the noisy air conditioner and the snoring from other rooms. But what really annoyed me was the attitude of most of the workers at the reception. They seemed to be completely mad at the world. Seriously, a totally inappropriate behavior in the field of Tourism.

The breakfast was ok and the man from reception. They can clean your room, but the smell by old furniture and the view, the location and people around you can't change that! Immigrants everywhere. You don't feel safe when you look at them! I'm sorry but this is the true! It was ok to be near to metro station, that's it!

I stayed at the Epidavros as a one night stopover on the way to Patras. It is well located with nice clean rooms. The price included breakfast which is always most welcome! No roof terrace but this is definitely a good hotel to stay in for a short trip. The bus stop to Kiffisos Bus Station is just around the corner from the hotel which was perfect.

The breakfast was simple but good (good bread and croissants). The staff was nice and helpful. There was just one plug on the bedroom. This hotel was close to Omonia metro. The area isn't that great but the hotel was good.

If youre looking for luxury or a romantic break this hotel is absolutely not for you! It was very Spartan but clean and the staff (especially the older man on reception) were pleasant and helpful. The area however was terrible and felt very unsafe. We ended up having taxis as we felt nervous walking around by the hotel. Our balcony rail was very loose and really unsafe and on arriving home this morning found I have been bitten to death by bed bugs I assume!

This hotel was close to Omonia metro. The area isn't that great but the hotel was a little jewel in this area. Lovely clean rooms, a/c, tea/coffee, hairdryer, flat TV, toiletries, free wifi. Beautifully decorated. Breakfast was basic, self serve but adequate and I don't think you can do better for the price. The staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful when I had a problem with a refund.

Location was very ok, nearby acropolis museum and Acropole antic site. We have a lot of good restaurants with tradițional food and plenti of market shops. Omonia metro station is at only 5minutes to walk from hotel.

Well, me and my partner only really wanted a bed for the night so we weren't bothered about the quality, but it was terrible! There was only one plug in the room and it was behind the head rest? So when I wanted a cup of tea I had to put the kettle on the bed??!! Breakfast was so basic, I wouldn't have it again and would go to town instead. The area around the hotel was so rough! I did not feel safe at all. If you want a very very basic place with a poor breakfast then it's fine for one night. There's a place down the road called Dorian inn, and the food, the people and everything about t was 5 times better than this.
