I booked this room for one day for my mom and dad whom got married. Just something nice that my sibblings and I wanted to do. The pictures on line are nice but it does not show all the work that needs to be done to the place. When you pull up first thing you see is this big huge gapping hole up top and some of the structure hanging like it will fall at any minute. Checking in was quick and no problems there. Elevaor smelled of urine and sticky. Rugs in hallway now vaccumed due to small pieces of debri left at every other step. Very bad smell in hallway. Was not nice at all but I think someone just got finished spraying. Hole in room on wall very visible could put at least three fingers in. Paint was not done correctly. You can see all the patched up work. All in all I wish I would have made their reservation somewhere else. Not what I wanted for them. Will not be making anymore reservations here and I don't recommend this place. I could have gotten better value at an Super 8. Company should sell rooms at wayyyyy cheaper rate. But no bugs or animals so that is why 2 stars is what you get. I don't care about driving distance on trips because as long as I have a car, I can get where I need to go. I care about cleaniness and appearance. And that should be everyones main preference!

Hotel was up to date and very clean. The breakfast attendant was superb. Staff very helpful as well. Price was exorbitant for a Comfort Inn and Suites, as there was a football game in town that weekend.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, room was a little dusty, but overall it was a nice stay. Would come back again.

The young lady at the front was very helpful and polite. The room was clean, the breakfast wasn't bad and the breakfast staff was right on top of everything.

Good experience with the staff. The hotel was clean and in good shape. The ot complaint I had was the bed was not comfortable. I would stay there again.

From beginning to end, the front desk staff were exceptionally warm & friendly and made us feel welcome, even on the holiday. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits & gravy, as well as the expected assortment of toast, bagels, yogurt, etc. It's located next door to a Best Buy and Toys R Us. The mall is a very quick drive. Babyland General Hospital (home of the Cabbage Patch Kids) and the German village of Helen are about 1 1/4 hours away.

We arrived at the hotel at 3am after a very long delay at the airport. The check in was quick and we when we got to our room it was amazing. The beds we comfortable, temperature of room perfect. Just undone the bed and fell fast asleep.

The desk staff was delightful and conversational during check in. The continental breakfast was superb. Bisquits and sausage gravy, hot eggs and sausage. Mmmm-Mmmm. The hotel was close to all the shopping one could ever need.

This hotel meets the basic need for a place to sleep for a one night stop.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. It is not a luxurious hotel but the rooms are well kept and the staff helpful.

The hotel was great for what we paid for it. It is in a fine part of town and the hotel is in great condition. We especially enjoyed the complementary breakfast that the hotel provided.

I was in Athens to attend the SEC outdoor track meet at the U of Ga, and booked the room without having been to Athens before. Check-in was fast, and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Only surprise was that it was a handicap equipped room - no tub but walk into a curtained shower area. That said, the bed was king sized and the air conditioner didn't make noises. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. I would stay here again.

Poor TV reception. Location good for us, we were visiting family members. Breakfast pretty good. Computers etc. very good. The help was OK. Inadequate number of hangers in the closet! Mismarked cans of soda in the machines.

This hotel worked out perfectly for us. We were in town to visit family and shop for Black Friday. It turned out that the hotel was next door to Toys R Us, with 2 children under the age of 4 it is our new favorite store:) Downtown Athens isn't far away, but we were wary of staying downtown with two small children.

Comfortable room and great location to all shopping.

Clean rooms and the staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations on where to eat

Hotel was conveniently located just on the outskirts of Athens. Would stay here again. Basic hotel. Great food. Comfy beds. Quiet. Good.

Took my son to the UGA G day football game. Good location close to many resturants. Clean comfortable room and good breakfast the next morning.

The Comfort Inn and Suites was very run down. The front desk gave us the wrong room keys and when we went back to exchange the keys the staff said we were wrong not them. The breakfast was not good and the equipment in the fitness room was missing parts.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient to campus. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.
