Oh well!

Standing at the property front door, I had to request check in info as no prior email was sent. Had to try 3 code boxes as the info did not specify which code box. Had to ask about what hot water fuse to turn on, as it was not specific in instructions. The top drawer in the kitchen was broken and one of the night stand lamp shades was also broken. Toilet is snug to wall with shower foot edge on the other side - super snug with no rails to stand or sit. Also window in main room did not lock properly. Front door if property had a very loud high pitched sound when opened by all guests of building. Would not recommend!

Lovely apartment, great location

Had a great stay in Athens. Very nice apartment in a brilliant location for all the tourist attractions, Acropolis, Olympic stadium etc etc, could walk to all of them and only 5 minutes walk to the main tube station. Plaka is a great location and neighbourhood and apartment is on top of a street full of bars and lovely restaurants. Only downside to the apetment is the bathroom which is very small and not particularly practical but we knew that before we stayed and I wouldn't let that put you off as everything else is great. Would definitely recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again if I came to Athens again.

Great location close to Syntagma and thePlakka

George's apartment was excellent for our 2 night stay in Athens. The location is fantastic being close to both Syntagma Sq (where both the metro station and airport bus have stops) and the Plakka area. The photos are accurate and as mentioned by other reviewers the bathroom is very 'snug'. We were aware of this before booking and managed OK. If using the very small sink just move the mirror out of the way OR use the kitchen sink. We are both of a small build and the shower is 'tight'. We didn't use the kitchen so can't comment on that. George was quick to respond to any messages which made arrival and queries easy. Plenty of room and very quiet. Good value for the price.

Excellent location in the Plaka with easy access to all public transportation at Syntagma Square and steps away from amazing close-up views of the Acropolis. Many good restaurants, cafes, etc. in the area. The host, George, is very responsive & very quickly & graciously replies to any enquires. The room itself is spacious & comfortable with a/c, kitchenette, tv & wifi. The window overlooks an interior courtyard, so no view at all but adequate light. It’s also very nice & quiet for sleeping. The downside is definitely the tiny bathroom. It is indeed very small but the shower works well with lots of hot water. The tiny sink and awkwardly placed toilet are a bit of a challenge, but I think the trade off for the price & location is worth it. Depends what your priorities are!

Amazing location/great room/tiny bathroom

You could not find a better location than this room! It’s exactly in the center (Plaka) and everything you need is accessible from there. At the beginning it was hard for us to locate because it’s not a hotel, it’s only an apartment. The studio itself is very spacious and great: however, the bathroom was not functional considering how small is was, I was very uncomfortable trying to use it, but it was a little easier for my husband to use. If only interested about the location this is definitely your go-to apartment! But if you’re looking for comfort then I wouldn’t recommend this bathroom facility.

Quirky, clean, comfy, close to sights

Super clean, somewhat quirky older property, tricky to find, signage non existent, host sent Wi-Fi password and allowed to drop bags off before cleaning completed, which was nice Look for street address, check for wifi signal and sign in and communicate with host. Tiny bathroom and kitchen but great value for such a perfect location.

Muito boa, super nos atendeu, único ponto seria o tamanho do banheiro mesmo, quando fechei já sabia, então não foi um susto, mas é bem pequeno mesmo. De resto ótima localização, cama boa, havia ar condicionado, tinha até uma cafeteira, proprietário explicou tudo e nos deu todo suporte.

Deux nuits à Athènes

Les +: Appartement calme, très grand, lit très confortable, bonne situation géographique, self check in. Machine à café, bouilloire, four et plaques (mais pas de four micro ondes). Les -: salle d'eau plus que minuscule (j'arrivais à me tourner dans la douche car je suis mince mais je pense que c'est ingérable pour une personne plus imposante, difficile de s'asseoir sur le toilette par manque de place et lavage de dents dans l'évier..). Besoin de lancer le chauffeau 25 min avant la douche pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Malgré cela bonne expérience à un prix très raisonnable.
