This Hotel is really a special piace to stay in Athens. I have appreciated the clean room, the magic atmosphere in the hall, the food and the drinks. Workers are very kind and professionals so my rate for this hotel is 5 balls
I stayed for 6 nights on business in one of the mezzanine suites. The room was large and airy, with 2 balconies, top floor with a good view of northern Athens and the mountains. The service was great, and a very nice selection available at the restaurant in the lobby for breakfast and supper. The honesty bar is also a wonderful concept. The location is in a quiet suburb, and less than 10 mins walk from the nearest train station which takes you directly to the city center. Only con I can think of is the lack of closet space in the room. There is a rack with hangers, but now drawers or cupboards. I would highly recommend staying here, and would love to return some day.
We read the rave reviews on TA and decided to stay at this hotel. Boy! What a let-down. Firstly, it is not located in any upmarket street but rather it is located right in the heart of a residential street and difficult to get to. Very local area. We booked a double room with balcony, seperate bathroom etc as advertised against the room rate. We arrived late to the hotel due to a late Athens flight. We were taken to a room in the 2nd building which was more of a bunker than a room. It was really small and depressing, looking out into some rooftop solar panels. There was no seperate bathroom, just a clear glass shower cubicle within the bedroom, right opposite your bed. So, if you like showering naked in front of your partner, then this is great. The room was claustrophobic; there was no balcony as advertised and it basically looked like a backpackers' motel. The toilet was smelly when flushed. Most disappointing first impressions. We voiced our dissatisfaction to Reception and surprisingy, they had a vacant room in the main building which had all the features as listed in the original room booking ie large double modern room with balcony and seperate bathroom. So why didn't they assign us this room in the first place, given we paid for such a room??? Reception's feeble and defensive excuse was that they were both double rooms, so what's the problem. Really??? The difference was night and day and they felt there was no difference to the rooms??? Tip to fellow travellers: pls ensure that you get the rooms in the main building, unless you don't mind walking up multiple steps and sleeping in a claustrophobic cubicle
Great design of the hotel, had the best sleep in ages! Breakfast is preety basic and more than enough. The location is out of the city centre of Athens, but you can always get the metro, which is 10 minutes by foot.
I'll start with the con (if you count it) the location is a bit off from Athens center and 15 minutes walking distance from Kifissia, which imho is a very nice place because it is a very green area compared to rest of Athens. As the name suggests, the beds and pillows are Coco-Mat, and They can be the most fomfortable thing you can sleep in. The rooms are nice, very well lit and clean, they have a pillow menu, breakfast is very good and the stuff is very friendly. As a side note : If you plan to stay multiple times, you can ask for a different Coco-Mat bed to try them.
Stayed in a nature room on the back of the hotel. Great feel in a quiet neighbourhood, quality room, super friendly staff that really know how to make a customer feel at home. Definitely a place I'll be returning soon, in business or family travel. Bonus: next to the train station, to a green park and to the mountain.
I have been in Nafsika this week (third time) and find as usual a very nice welcome as well as a great place to stay. I would suggest it to all who are looking for a quite, clean and beautiful hotel. Great breakfast... Ciao Adriano (Verona Italy)
For those looking to stay at the northern suburbs of Athens, the hotel is a perfect choice. Friendly staff with an honest smile! clean rooms and the best of the best is the quality of the bed mattresses & cushions! I stayed twice at the hotel during the last 6 months and looking forward for my next trip to Athens.
The views from our room were outstanding, the breakfast delicious, but what made it for us were the friendly, kind and helpful staff. We liked the quiet neighbourhood, clean air (sometimes challenging to find in Athens) but also being only a 5 minute walk from the metro station and a 25-30 minute train ride from the very centre of Athens. Kifissia was one short Metro train stop away, but we actually walked and it was only a 10-15 minute walk. I was working for the majority of our stay and the internet connections were perfect. Lastly, it was a relatively short and easy car drive away from the airport.
We stayed there on a business trip as it was close to our company. The hotel itself has a charming ambiance. Rooms are pretty big with terrace, super comfortable bed. You have everything you need in the room from tea to coffee and some extra snacks. Mini bar is also available. Breakfast is super good, quite some variety of food and fresh ingredients. Staff is also very friendly.
