In an upscale neighborhood, it seems edgy and 'fancy' in photos... It plays with neon, bold colour and tries to be unique with many detailed elements; but I would appreciate if it would at least come with a little gesture like complimentary water ><
When you first walk into Semiramis you think someone has just tried every colour of paint made. Once you get deeper into the hotel it is very neat. You get a symbol on your room key not a number and everything lines up the same as if you had gotten a number. Very cool idea. The pool and restaurant areas very both very clean with attentive employees. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very quiet with no street noise when your room overlooks the pool area. If your looking for trendy this is the place to stay.
Overall experience good. our seminar room was prepared but the A/C was not so good. We kept asking for milk the first 1 hour before we start in order to get our coffees and get going with the seminar. This could be a bit better. Receptionist staff was excellent. They helped us through with everything and acted immediately. Gentleman assigned to care for room and coffees end of 1st day and 2nd day was AWESOME Very kind and polite Thank you for everything.
It's the best place to stay if you are in athens for business or pleasure A small but excellent hotel. Exceptional design Art and hospitality go together Nice place to be in Kifissia. Pleasant personnel and very efficient.
1. Do not stay on Street Side - all night long it is a beeping, honking race track. 2. Restaurant closed on Sunday. 3. Breakfast served daily in the lobby. Ordering takes time. 4. Restaurant when it opens it is 8:30pm. Very late for us. 5. Room Service is marginal - people say Yes to everything you request but do not real understand. Look up greek words for bed and butter, salt and pepper, use to serve olives and oil not anymore. 6. Saturday night the place turns into a swinging night club extremely noisy until early hours of the morning. 7. No water in room. 8. No coffee in room. 9. Room and furnishings extremely outdated. 10. Mirror in shower wall cracked. 11. Shower floor stained with who knows what. 12. Shower floor chipped and probably growing bacteria. 13. Limited towels. No hand towels. 14. Carpet stained and filthy. 15. Way, way, way overpriced. Should be 75 Euros per night. 16. Will not stay here again. But I truly believe that all hotels in the area are over rated, over priced and under maintained. 17. Do not ever believe the 5 Star rating. 18. Looking at the reviews I am confident friends and employees and ownership are submitting reviews. 19. Really a dump. 20. Good luck my friends. I stay all over the world - one of the worst.
I stayed for 4 days and I strongly suggest it. It’s a wonderful modern hotel located in kefalari square near Kifisia. There are many things to do and fabulous places to visit near by. The room service was very good. The swimming pool and the Italian restaurant was great it was a value for money deal
I guess you could say rooms are stylish if neon pink and lime green are your thing. There was mold in the bathroom, stains on the carpet, chipped paint in the shower floor, no shelf in the shower as it was broken off, bedside table was broken, window blinds were broken, etc. Reception at check-in was surly when I balked at paying for an extra breakfast I wasn't going to eat. At least bed was comfortable and AC worked.
Plus: one of a kind design, delicious food, unique pool, close to athens and nea makri if you want to visit Saint Efrem monastery, close to shops and restaurants, nice beach amenities, nice dinner restaurant set up Minus: a bit old and not well mantained-scratches, buttons not working properly, small variety breakfast, not very prompt and proffesional staff and not all speak good english, the water in the shower has fluctuations and it effectively comes with burning water from time to time while showering- I burned my skin several times and shouted out loud because it comes unexpectedly, at 7 AM by mistake the music turned on very very loud in all rooms and all woke up shoked-some guests complained and I understood the staff at the reception didn t even appologise Besides all this I rated 5 stars because we would come back for the pluses. Until now we didn t find a perfect hotel in Greece to set standards very high..
Highly recommended this hotel. We stay there for 3 days. I arrived early morning but they accept me to go to my room. The stuff were very kind and helpful. Clean and colorful rooms . The hotel is located in very quiet area. Its a little bit far from the city center but its ok. The breakfast was really good. If one day i came back to Athens 100% i will book this hotel again.
An absolutely lovely staff welcomed us (group of friends) on her arrival and showed her our rooms. We had a pool bungalow. The room is very clean full of color with a direct access to the pool. There is also a very cute private garden in the back of the room. Bathroom is also great. Perfect stop before cruising to the Cyclades.
