3 star quality from a 2 star hotel

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Centrally located (even though area isnt great), very helpful and friendly staff. The room was big and really clean. The fridge is always a bonus in the summer time. Great value. This cannot be a 2 star hotel. I have stayed in much worse 3 star hotels.

The room in the picture is hen I booked look big but when we got there so small. There’s a window but faces tge wall. Lots of noisy pigeons in the am! I’m very disappointed!

The front desk people, esp. Georgios, were great. G. was always so helpful in recommending things and making the stay enjoyable. The building and area look a little sketchy from the outside, but it's a wonderfully restored property. It's nice to see what they did with it. The other guests were great, mostly tourist couples, and I really enjoyed my stay there. The area is fine and is walkable to many tourist sites.

Value for the price, in psiri neighborhood. Walkable to many dining options and Plaka neighborhood!. Air conditioning may need enhancement for summer temperatures in Athens once it hits 39 or 40 centigrade!.
