Fabulous stay

This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in in Athens over the past 3 years. Super comfortable rooms with balconies. We had the smallest category room and still felt very comfortable. Great linens and bathrooms and storage. No hot items for breakfast but still enjoyable. Unlimited coffee tea and water as well as snacks. Location is amazing with respect to shopping restaurants and metro to port and airport. Highly recommend and this will be our go to hotel from now on.

Our stay at Athens Retro was phenomenal from start to finish! The staff is very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We were greeted with welcome coffees and our room was upgraded upon our arrival. The hotel is brand new and everything is well thought out for your convenience. The room was nice and clean. House keeping cleaned our room and made our bed daily. It is perfectly located and in easy walking distance of major attractions and the metro station. Breakfast was included with our stay. The staff even packed us a breakfast to go on our last day since we had to leave early that day. Of note for those who are light sleepers. The street outside may at times get a little noisy due to a nearby restaurant however it was manageable. Overall we would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing Hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Athens Retro! What a beautiful hotel with an excellent location. The staff were so kind and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we had an unlimited supply of water, coffee, tea and whatever was in the fridge in the dining hall. Our only issue was that the bathroom was really small. You had to enter the shower to get inside the bathroom. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Athens! Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and warmth! You made our stay amazing!

The property was clean and beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even for the smallest of requests like holding on to my luggage before moving on to the next town, after I had checked out the following day. This was a very confortable stay in a very convenient, walkable location in Monestikari.

Retro Athens We loved the property and our time at Athens Retro. Checkin was seamless. We stored our bags as we got in early morning and went out to a tour of Athens. Staff was polite and spoke good English. Warm and welcoming. Location is perfect if you want to be close to all major tourist sites and the market place plus great restaurants and bars. Room was modern looking, very clean and great facilities. Balcony was comfortable and could easily sit four. Bed and pillows were excellent. Firm and using high quality, high thread count cotton. Shower was excellent as well. Warm water and great shower head. Only downside is that there’s a restaurant downstairs that got loud late (after midnight) and the noise came through. But it wasn’t terrible - the hotel provided ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel for great location, clean and modern facilities and warm and friendly staff.

Perfect location for an unbeatable price. Staff was very friendly, and the rooms were quite comfortable. The balcony is a nice touch, and the breakfast in the morning was welcome as well. For a few days in Athens I will definitely return. Many roof top bars nearby, easy walk to Plaka and Acropolis. We loved our stay here.
