We stayed here as a stopover before going to Le Shuttle early the next day. Great location for a stopover, check-in was smooth and easy, rooms very clean and nicely decorated…hotel rooms had a refurb in Sep ‘25. Good pub food as well. Early checkout was also easy with a drop key box for those leaving before reception is staffed. All in all for the price point we would definitely work this stop off into our travel plans for future France trips

Hier ist die natürliche englische Übersetzung im Stil einer Expedia-Bewertung: Nice hotel in a convenient location, ideal for a stopover when travelling to or from England. The Channel Tunnel and Dover are both easily and quickly accessible from here. This was our second stay at the hotel. After the renovation, the rooms are even nicer than before, while the hotel has still retained its original charm. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a large car park in front of the hotel (or rather the restaurant), as well as a spacious garden area next to the property. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty.

Good clean room. Bathroom looked as if it had been recently refurbished and was immaculate. A bigger bath mat in the shower cubicle would be advisable as the floor does get slightly slippy. Air con would have been useful, especially in the recent hot weather. Breakfasts were good but took a long time to arrive.
