Perfect stay
The property was stunning and much bigger than we had expected. We had no desire to go out it because it was so nice. Gorgeous location to explore, if you can tear yourself away from the property, and there was a handy shop over the road. Loved relaxing in the peaceful garden in the sun and having a great cinema experience.

Simply stunning, loved the out door space and hot tub
Simply stunning, loved the out door space and hot tub. Really is a stunning place to stay, the chapel had been perfectly refurbished to the very highest standard. Appledore village is as quintessentially English as you can get, beautiful village with the perfect team room and welcoming pub. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights, highly recommend.

The house is lovely & just as luxurious as the photos seem
The house is lovely & just as luxurious as the photos seem. The hot tub was very clean and the perfect temperature. The cinema room was a great feature - the recliner seats & easy to set up the screen etc. The welcome pack had easy to follow instructions. The interior design and finishes of the house are beautiful. The dining table only has space for 4 even though it sleeps 6. 2 people sat on the stalls on the island but if you wanted to have a formal dinner the table wouldn't work. The village was small but lovely with a convenient shop opposite and a nice pub 1 min walk away. It's well located for the Kent vineyards which is what we did for our stay. Overall, would recommend and I would stay here again! We had a lovely time.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Everything, the location the property the ease of booking. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely be booking again.
The only thing we struggled with was the temperature of the house, couldn’t seem to reduce the temperature so was a bit warm at times as a lot of the windows wouldn’t open, the washing machine also didn’t work, I’m the tap at the back wasn’t switched on and the water pressure to the machine is low

Phenomenal
Everything. Cinema room was fantastic, great aesthetic and really easy to use the controls. Comfy chairs and everything about it really made it feel separate from the rest of the house, as if it was its own thing. 10x better than a normal cinema to the point I now no longer want to go to the cinema, I want to rent this bnb and watch films in it. Whole new standard. The pool table and retro gaming machine added additional forms of entertainment while we stayed which we very much enjoyed.
The hot tub was a real selling point. Everything was clean and ready to use upon arrival and we took full advantage of it.
The rooms were comfortable incredibly well designed as was the rest of the house. There was a clear and cohesive vibe throughout the property that was luxurious and functional. All the bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen was gorgeous. All in all we had a fantastic time and will 1,000,000% be back for another visit.
One of the electric reclining chairs didn’t work.
Bottle down the side of the hot tub.
Few scuffs around the door handles / door frames. (Really minor, nit picky stuff)

Highly recommend this beautiful place.
I loved the modern technology in this place, it made the stay double the fun. I loved the “bible” with all the rules and help in it, that was fab. Made everything so easy and we could refer back to it without messing around trying to work things out.
The house is luxurious, all of the furniture and artwork was so nice. The cinema was very easy to use and the option for it to wipe all your accounts off it without needing to do it yourself was very nice touch.
There was also a shop literally across the road which was convenient and a very nice tea room just a little walk up from there.
Me and my friends had a great time and will definitely come back!
Temp of the house was a bit on the warm side with not a lot of options to help cool it down as the windows shut when it rains (also very handy so we didn’t have to run around and close them) but luckily we were here in September and it didn’t affect us too much.
We have a large group of friends, if there was option to add a pull out mattress or a pop up beds here or there for an extra fee we would absolutely love that to bring a couple of extra friends.

Fabulous Family Break
We enjoyed a fabulous family break at Wesleyan House. It was immediately obvious that this property has been built and presented to a very high standard. Packed full of technology, we loved the speakers built into the ceiling of most rooms, and got a lot of use out of the cinema, hot tub, and pool table. Thankfully the weather meant that we were also able to enjoy the private outside space.
During our stay, we had one small issue where a curtain fell down, but the property management team quickly resolved the situation.
The property is in a lovely village, which has a shop across the road, a very good pub approx 5 mins walk down the road, and a lovely tea room.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be looking to return.
Cannot recommend Wesleyan House highly enough.
A chest of drawers in the downstairs bedroom would be a useful addition. Also the property is listed as pet friendly, but there wasn't any provisions for dogs such as water bowls or towels for drying wet paws.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a self-catering getaway that offers added luxuries.
Our stay in the chapel was simply amazing! We were a group of five adults, including two teenagers and a dog, and there was more than enough room for everyone to enjoy their own space. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous and provides all the essentials, including washing up liquid, dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, and even Bayliss and Harding shower gel in all the bathrooms. Fluffy white towels and bathrobes were also provided—the amenities seemed endless! The surrounding area offers lovely walks for the dog, and conveniently, these strolls lead you right past the local pub, the Black Lion, where you can enjoy a drink after your adventures. The cinema room in the chapel is fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed playing pool together, also not forgetting the Hot Tub.....plenty of testing strips and chlorine tablets provided, we tested it every day and had no problems. The windows in the chapel were a bit of a puzzle to open, but we soon sussed out that both locks on the window need to open the same direction, not opposite directions as we were doing, they both need to be turned clockwise so the opener is facing 3 O'clock. As the chapel is very well insulated, opening all the windows helps to keep it cool as we found out during a heat wave. The village itself is charming, with a shop just across the road and an amazing pub only two minutes away that serves delicious food and even better beer. Everyone in the village is friendly, especially Carly, the owner of Miss Mollett's Tea Rooms, which is definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a self-catering getaway that offers added luxuries. We will definitely be back. Kent is truly a beautiful county, and our time spent at the chapel was unforgettable!
Not a criticism, but maybe an outdoor dining table and chairs and a few more cups.
