The Paradise Yurt was tucked in a magical forest of tall evergreens, ferns, moss and wildflowers. It was like staying in an enchanted fairy land. The yurt itself was rustic, but had what we needed and the bed was comfortable. Every staff person we encountered was super friendly and helpful.

Never write reviews but this place was terrible. Almost $200 a night for a tiny stuffy room where nothing has been updated for decades (passes of as "charm"). Worst were the bedbugs, multiple bites on legs for two nights (yes they were bedbugs, I'm a doctor). Should be reported to state health agency. Clearly the owners have no interest in making the place better, only in pocketing your money. They rail against the negative reviews but they are all legit.

Never checked in, reservation has been cancelled.

I was pretty disappointed after all the good reviews and the high price that I paid. The room was small, crowded and old. I thought I booked one of the largest rooms. The sofa was very comfortable to sleep on and the outside of the lodge looked beautiful. Breakfast was OK.

Cute property although staff seemed not to be too present. Check in was difficult- there was a call button but no one responded/could hear it or the phone ringing- we had to come back later and check in.

The staffs are excellent and helpful. The motel is located within a short distance from the main park entrance. Highly recommended!!!

Some suggestions: a bigger microwave and fridge in the shared area with disposable paper microwavable plates/bowls. Also, access to ice.

Nice non-insulated room all by itself in the forest with electricity and wifi. Very quiet and only a few hundred foot walk back to the Inn and bathroom facilities.

The hotel is very close to entrance to national park. The free breakfast is very convenient.

Great location for Mt. Rainier national park. Friendlhy, helpful staff.

Beautiful grounds with a fun trout pond and little walking path into the woods. Plenty of chairs to sit out on the deck or lawn. Probably the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept upon. Love the fact that the hotel has beer and wine for purchase along with snacks. Only downsides are steep stairs and a so so breakfast.

I LOVE this lodge. Perfect, quaint, clean, beautiful room and very comfortable. A tiny trail to hike into blissful serenity. Right at the entrance to the park. The air smells SO fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great, too. I'll stay again!

The Inn is very sweet! If you are expecting a designer done Inn and rooms, you will be disappointed. But if you are wanting quaint and comfortable, Alexander's is the place. Our room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The surroundings are so pretty and there is even a place to walk deep into the woods, which we enjoyed. The staff was great. Overall experience was very good.

We were told the room was below ground but were shown a picture of a double door leading outside. We never found where the picture was taken. The room was down steep steps which appeared not to have been swept in months. The room was extremely small and appeared to have been a laundry room or staff quarters in the past. There were cobwebs in the corner in the bathroom. No air conditioning and the area was having a heat wave. There was a fan which was very noisy. Breakfast first day had only bread products and instant oatmeal. I had to ask for milk and access to a microwave to heat it. Staff kept offering chocolate milk for the oatmeal. We skipped breakfast the next day. Last day of our three day stay we tried breakfast again. This time some scrambled eggs and tiny pieces of overcooked bacon were offered. We were very disappointed in the accommodations, especially at the price we paid. The facility changed hands recently and it appeared no maintenance had been done since that time. Without notice they charged my credit card for the full amount of the bill at the time reservations were made. We would not recommend this place.

We loved staying there. The pond, the breakfast were the best.

Iconic Hotel with a lot of class. Perfect location for park entrance.

Thank you for the feedback. We did a thorough investigation and do not find your claims true, and the room had guests before and after you. The staff never heard any complaint from you during your 2 night stay at the lodge. Please don’t forget you were in the forest area, while enjoying the nature, take precautions. Also, we accommodated your special requests about breakfast. We did a special breakfast delivery for you. The room has a memory foam mattress with new bed spread. We are providing as many modern amenities as possible given the age of the building.
