Dirt on wall behind bathroom door. Mold on wall behind shower curtain. Batteries almost dead in remote control. Property outside needs cleaning and paint. Continental breakfast very limited. Staff is very friendly. This is a nice $80 per night hotel. Not worth the $230 we paid.

I’d spend a little More and stay in downtown and at a little nicer place

The Beaucatcher is a great little hotel that is being fixed up and modernized. The location is great—just off Tunnel Road, which has tons of restaurants and an Ingles and gas station right across the street—but it can be a bit loud (street noise only, the other guests were very considerate and quiet) so I’d recommend leaving the A/C or fan on as white noise while you sleep. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a very pleasant woman at the desk. Our room was clean and overlooked the courtyard, which was nice. Overall, I’d return!

The hotel is under renovation but the bed was so comfy and the room was clean.

Staff was wonderful. Even though the place was not new or have all the amenities of a large chain, it was clean, great view of the mountains, breakfast every morning. A smike and a thank you every time. Nothing bad at all, the price was very modest comparing to all other places. A great stay and great value.

Basic property but serves it purpose. Clean, comfortable.

I felt like this property was falsely advertised. Honestly, it was like "lipstick on a pig" as my husband put it. We tolerated it because it was just a one-night, quick stay. I chose to not mention it to staff simply because it was late and we were leaving early and we were exhausted from a long drive. Before I list the disappointments, I must say that the staff I interacted with at check-in were very kind and helpful! The courtyard was manicured as pictured, but our door was jammed and we couldn't access it, not that we would've felt comfortable. I saw three [I assume] homeless men emerge from behind the abandoned back building of the motel. Front desk let me know that they only own the inner "U" shape of the old motel and the back building will be torn down. The caulking in the bathroom was brown and cracked in places. The tub had a spider, beetle, and hair in it. In the morning we had a beetle and a cricket in the room along with an unidentified insect in the sink in the morning. The AC didn't work well and the room was either stagnent and hot or humid - no in between. There was a musty smell despite the temperature. I have never done a negative review on orbitz because I've never needed to. I have great trust in this company and even used it on another hotel on our drive home (which was awesome!). Kudos to the PR department for making this motel look like a flipped and modernized, trendy place to stay. I was very disappointed.

Staff super friendly, the room was cleaned and we loved how peaceful it is.

A nice hotel near downtown Asheville. Well kept up and near lots of restaurants and right off the freeway, so easy to get where you want to go.

Best place to stay in Asheville. Close to everything. Get to booking!

This is very old motel that has been dressed up for millennials. The pool has been converted to a community area with a firepit. The lobby is nice. The breakfast consist of microwave sausage biscuits

This was a revamped motel that was remodeled into a lovely boutique hotel. The staff was wonderful. Very convenient to downtown. I will definitely stay again!

Very nice staff, great location, nice room. Couldn’t ask for more at a great price!

Cute place, friendly staff, lots of options in the continental breakfast and 2 minutes to downtown. Perfect
