Our first impression of Tanzania before starting out on our safari. Accomodations were good, staff very helpful. It was not an area for comfortable walking for a group of women, but the premises felt safe and welcoming.

We recently stayed here for a couple of days and enjoyed our visit very much. The staff was friendly and attentive along with wonderful dinners. The breakfast was a semi-buffet with your choice of eggs every morning. The rooms were small but neat and clean. Plenty of drinking water was provided as well each day. The internet worked very well Monday - Friday when the local school was in session but not on the weekend when there was no school. They shared the internet connection with the school. The pool was nice to look at but dirty and not something I was willing to swim in. We had an interesting boxed lunch each day and dinner was one choice for vegetarians and one for meat eaters. There was no menu each day but the food was excellent and the service wonderful.

The staff at Ahadi were so warm and accommodating. They were friendly and very engaging! The rooms were small but adequate for a stay and the food was good. A great jumping off spot for our safari holiday!

Our family stayed in two rooms for two nights at the beginning of our Safari trip. Don’t be fooled by the crazy road in to the Lodge, once inside the gate the outside chaos is blocked out. It is like a lovely little oasis. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were everything we needed and the food was excellent! This was part of our Bush2Beach Safari package so I’m not sure of the price. I would stay here again if I was ever in Arusha.

I was very pleased with Ahadi Lodge. Good value for the reasonable price. Very nice and service friendly service from the staff, good food in the restaurant. Not a luxury hotel, maybe a little worn, but the room kept good standard, in terms of price. This is a hotel for those who don't want to stay right in the center but have a short distance, anyway. During the day one could hear the sounds of the little traffic that was on the outside, prayer calls from a mosque, and singing from a primary school, close by. This contributed to an exotic soundscape. At night it was completely quiet outside! It is not bad when you live near the city center. A nice garden and the small pool were well maintained and clean. I will definitely book at Ahadi next time I'm going to Arusha!

Ahadi lodge is a Nice lodge, but our stay was made special by Monica and the chef in the kitchen. They really did there utmost for a Great stay. To be honest all staff was good, but these two were excellent!!

We arrived at 0130 hours after a long journey from London. There was a manager to greet us, two staff to carry our luggage and a very welcome drink and smile. Although dinner was offered, we declined and went to the room. Room was fine for a one night stay, well appointed with mosquito net, and a great shower. It was clean, although the stone floor was a little dusty but that comes with the territory I guess. Breakfast was a generous buffet, with eggs/omelette cooked to order in the kitchen. Again, great customer service. The Lodge is next door to a church, so you will be treated to singing if staying on a Sunday as we were! Definitely recommended.

Ahadi Lodge has got very good staff. They are helpful when anything is needed and the chefs make food to your delight. They are courteous and very friendly. The swimming pool is lovely too. The rooms are good, although single beds are small and may not be fit for selective clientele. Will visit again.

The hotel was clean and tidy but basic and the shower had no curtain so toilet area got soaked and I had to dry with towels. The staff were very nice until they realised they had double booked my room. I had booked the Friday night even though my flight was 4am Sat morning but I wanted to test and shower before heading off at 1am for the airport. On Friday morning as I was leaving to our for the day the receptionist told me the they had to do some repairs to the plumbing in my room and wanted to move me to another hotel. I explained that I would be back late that day and would have to speak to them then but I also told them I was not prepared to move as I was only going to be in my room for a few hours to rest. I arrived back at around 8.45on and was told U would have to move my stuff out and go to the other hotel. I refused but ended but packing and having a quick shower then waited in the bar till my taxi arrived with the offer of one free beer as compensation. I will be going back to Tanzania soon and will be find different accommodation.

Don't be put off by the bumpy, dirt road from the main road - (most side roads were bad due to the heavy rains). Nice comfortable and friendly hotel with good food and a nice pool. Arrived late (22h30) but still got a good steak at the small restaurant. Odd shaped rooms but comfortable and clean. A good overnight hotel en route to somewhere, but not a destination in itself, or somewhere as a base for Arusha.
