The property is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near the beach. The resort caters to an older clientele and is ideal if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
Check-in was disappointing, as the staff member who assisted us was not very informative. We had a pool-view room, which was lovely, and I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony.
Unfortunately, service overall was lacking. Most of the bartenders did not acknowledge us, and service was very slow. The waitstaff seemed to operate on “island time,” or perhaps felt less urgency due to the automatic 15% service charge added to each check.
Beach access was convenient; however, transportation to and from the beach was inconsistent. We requested a taxi through Jose, but three couples who arrived after us were placed into taxis before us, which was frustrating.
Overall, our stay was good, but based on the service issues, I would not choose to stay at this property again. That said, I would like to acknowledge a few exceptional employees who truly stood out: Oscar, Nelson, Miguel, and Frenda.
