Cheap decent hotel great for travel in a budget. Local and close to many restaurants and bars. Wifi works very well in room. No complaints. Only problem it gets cold at night. Still worth the money. Go to wild rover for drinks
Stayed here with a group tour in May. Staff were very friendly and helpful, laundry service was good and reasonably priced and the wifi was excellent. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main plaza and there are quite a few restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was included and was so-so: bread, lunch meats, salty cheese and fruit. The rooms were small and basic but comfortable. I would stay here if in Arequipa again. Only thing I would recommend is if you have a lot of luggage or aren't in good shape I'd recommend a room on a lower floor as there's no elevator.
Stayed one night in June 2017 with a group tour. Whilst the entrance lobby gives a decent first impression, the rooms are small, uncomfortable and decorated like my grandmothers house was in the 1970s. Wifi is non-existent when more than five people are online. Breakfast consists of bread, jam and limited fruit.
Bath with hot water 24 hours, wifi works fine also in the room, this hostal is within walking distance (5 mins) from the city center (main square, catedral and santa catalina monastery). Recommended especially for backpackers
This hostel provided very clean rooms. The hostel was well located within the city. It was near the main square and all the main attractions. I was disappointed with the basic breakfast provided. Perhaps this was because I went down towards the end of service. The wifi was also hit and miss (this appears to be the norm in many South American hostels/hotels). The shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. I would recommend this hotel to travellers who are looking for good quality basic accommodation.
This hotel has a great location, it is in a nice neighbourhood, the rooms are very small, and the breakfast is basic. They provide a luggage room and have a lovely downstairs toilet. It's a good walk to a shop so make sure you stock up before getting back to the hotel in the evening.
My friends and I were in Arequipa for 2 days and stayed at this inn. The staff was immediately helpful trying to get us into our rooms before the 2 o'clock check in. We had some other issues and the man that works overnight was so incredibly helpful talking to the flight centre and lending us his phone. We are ever so thankful to him. Having helpful staff is so important! The rooms were big enough. There were four of us and we each had a bed and space. It was what we paid for. The first night our showers were cold but the second night we had hot water. So ask the desk about this. The second night we had lovely hot showers. The inn is outside of the core but easy accessibly by foot. All in all a good stay.
Stayed here with a tour group and shared a twin room. The beds were clean and comfortable. The common spaces near reception are nice and welcoming too. My favourite part was the HOT shower :D Hot showers are hard to come by in Peru so I loved that this hostel had hot showers that had decent pressure too.
The hotel was comfortable but had very small bedrooms. Shower was hot, the bathroom was brand new and very clean. The beds were comfy and the wifi was average. It was absolutley fine for 2 nights in Arequipa and they let us keep our bags there after returning from Colca Canyon before a night bus. The breakfast was very basic but free. I would stay again if in Arequipa, a bargain stay very close to the main centre.
Spent one night in this hotel before heading out to the Colca Canyon. The place was clean and the shower had hot water - which after staying other places that didn't is definitely something to remark on! - and the room was comfortable. Hotel has good wifi and a large recreational area near reception with a couple of computers for guest use. All in all we had a pleasant stay here.
