I had a nice size room with a comfy bed. The plug in the sink let all the water through, only a shower, no bath and no wifi in the room. Just a short walk to the town square which had plenty of shops and restaurants
The location of the hotel is easy walking distance to main squire, attraction and restaurants etc. The staff were excellent and nothing to much trouble. Seemed to be very safe area at night to walk around.
The service is great, all the staff is very kind. The room is very confortable with a great view of the mainsquare. The building is very modern and we had a lovely breakfast. It's great the location and I had a great time.
After having undertaken a 12 hour drive to get here, it was a welcome sight. We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour and found the hotel to very comfortable and conveniently located. Service was impeccable and help with our luggage was only call away. The food in the restaurant was very good and there was a great variety for breakfast.
The truth is that in hospitality, the service is everything. And here is where I would like to recommend very sincerely the Casa Andina Classic Hotel in Arequipa (Jesusalen Street). When I arrived at the hotel I got a rather attractive double room, but I decided to go down to reception and ask if they had a larger room. Great was my surprise when Cecilia from reception offered me a huge room, with a King extra size bed. All the staff from the doorman to the cleaning staff, reception and the restaurant were extremely friendly and ready to meet any requirements that I or my wife made. Worth it. Just five blocks from the Plaza de Armas, it is ideal to walk from the hotel downhill to the square visiting churches, restaurants, shops, bars, cultural centers etc. I recommend it and personally it will be my first choice the next time I visit Arequipa. Excellent breakfast, the rooms are extremely quiet, even with open windows. And the shower, just perfect!!
Only a few blocks from the main plaza so easy to go back to hotel for change/rest etc during the day. Good standard hotel, rooms and beds are fine. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice, We were on a tour with Mercury holidays as were a few groups there with differing companies. However check in was very efficient even the another group arrived at the same time.
The hotel is a block or two away from the main plaza, the rooms were modern, and clean. The only complaint I have was that we stayed there on a Saturday night and had a room with a window onto the street & it was very noisy - they party pretty late, and like to lay on their horns! Could use more insulation!
I have to say this is not my first time here but I never will be tired of this city. There's too many reasons for it. First Weather is great, always sunny and the sky is always blue. Then food, you can enjoy of wonderful taste and varieties, you can have different flavors for each day for an entire week and still can discover new dishes to try. And of course, places to visit. If you're looking for kind of adventure, well there's a lot of activities you may try, trekking, mountain bike, hiking..... You can try to go up to the top of the volcano and try to reach the sky. Or you can go really deep into Colca canyon. It's up to you.
We booked for 2 adults and one child with a request for a rollaway bed. We were very pleased to get a triple room with 3 proper beds that allowed decent sleep all around. The rooms had a break out area with coffee table and lounge chairs which allowed some space to spread out. Free wifi in common areas. Decent buffet breakfast. Very polite staff. Easy walk to town square. Recommend
This hotel was part of a chain and the rooms were very similar to those in other towns and cities. Our room was clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfasts were fine, including all the usual things.
