This hotel was amazing. When we arrived they greeted us with a welcome cocktail which we enjoyed in the open air restaurant/bar overlooking Lake Arenal. the room was clean and very pretty. The rooms are individual casitas with small patios in front overlooking the lake. We had a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room, very handy for enjoying morning coffee on our patio with beautiful views. There are 2 pools, one heated, also overlooking the lake. the entire property is meticulously maintained with lawns and lush flowers and vegetation. And the best part is the extremely friendly and helpful staff.

A stunning location overlooking the lake and wonderful staff to match! Cris was a genial host and obviously enjoys his job! The little casitas are well equipped and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

The room was exactly as the photos looked only the view is even more spectacular! We really enjoyed staying here even though the drive to La Fortuna is long and requires patience. I mean we drove it everyday so to each their own there. But don’t plan on walking anywhere from here except another restaurant and mini mart. The food was very good, service and everyone working there was top notch, beds were comfy, grounds were beautiful. As long as you know this isn’t close to anything, then you’ll love it.

There were so many good things about this hotel! Staff: friendly, accommodating, welcoming. Nella, Christopher and Chris (Kiko) were particularly engaging and lovely — everyone else was really nice too…! Location: gorgeous views; quiet area; zero traffic; accessible distance to other attractions (La Fortuna; hanging bridges; Arenal 1968; etc.) Property: villas were spacious, comfortable, private. Restaurant on site was easy to access, serving delicious foods. Two pools (one warm, one cool) allowed for great options; property was maintained very well, clean and pleasing. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area of Nuevo Arenal…!

This is the best place to stay in the area if you want to be in a serene lake area and close to fortuna. Otherwise stay in fortuna. This property is quaint quality and with amazing hospitality. I hope to return again soon.

We just stayed at La Mansion Inn for the beginning of our trip in Costa Rica and it set a high bar for the rest of the trip! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, good AC, comfortable beds and private porches that overlooked magical views. The restaurant offered a great breakfast that is included but other items available to a low cost and the food was phenomenal. The staff there were the kindest, most attentive, and friendly people that were not only patient with our lack of Spanish but helped us with the language when we showed interest. It is a little bit of a drive to La Fortuna (~20 min.) but is very close to the Mistico Hanging bridges and having to drive a little was 100% worth every trying this facility offers. I will recommend this place to everyone I know and definitely return!

Amazing local stay

This place is a hidden gem. Blink and you'll miss it. In between Nuevo Arenal and La Fortuna, beautiful lake views and if it's clear, Arenal Volcano. Cozy cottages with everything you need to feel comfortable including a pool and large hot tub. Great food at the restaurant on site (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and a small gift shop and another restaurant within walking distance. Great for couples and families!

The hotel grounds are BEAUTIFUL!!! I woke up to a gorgeous view that I could see RIGHT FROM MY BED! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Chris was the absolute best!!!! He helped with everything from checking in to reservations to recommendations! The hotel itself is not in a “hot spot” but it is conveniently located on the route that leads to La Fortuna and popular hot springs. So, it was an easy drive to get to different activities and restaurants. I will definitely return!
