Everything was perfect for me. Just something took me by surprise. There was a general blackout in Madrid for which the hotel was not prepared. No water, no power, no air conditioning, no elevator. I can understand the situation turned hard for everyone, but a hotel that values ​​its guests should offer some kind of discount in cases like this.

Amazing staff, really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast they offer is extraordinary. The location is very centric, The rooms are spacious and clean, and their bathroom is quite large. Everything was fast, easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend

It is a very basic hotel, no frills whatsoever in the lobby, hallways, room etc. I felt like the room was clean, the shower had good water pressure and hot water. It was actually a bigger room than I had in many other European cities. I also had a door that opened onto a tiny little balcony, didnt expect that, it was a nice surprise. The desk staff asked me to leave my key with them when I went out, I said no thank you, they said ok. They were nice overall. The free breakfast was totally serviceable and the women who work there are great. Fresh squeezed OJ and coffee is included. The exact street the hotel is on has a lot of nightclubs and pushy people that try to usher you in, but you can just ignore them. Other than that, the location is great, super close to Plaza del Sol, a million restaurants near the hotel, many open very late. If you are not looking for any frills in your hotel room and care more about location and a great price, Id recommend this hotel.

This hotel deserves 6 stars! The staff, Jennifer, Laura, and 1 more whose name I've forgotten, were terrific. Jennifer was able to book tickets to a flamingo show when we were having difficulty using our American credit card on the show's website...she even got us a discount! The hotel owner was warm and welcoming. Our room was bright and spacious. The decor was "European Modern," which was a nice change from the dark room we had at a Barcelona hotel. The room was quiet. The bathroom actually had double sinks, a roomy shower and a separate WC. Great bed linens and big bath towels were welcome additions. The included breakfast had options: 3 kinds of milk, 3 kinds of juice, hard boiled eggs in cute egg cups, fresh berries and nuts for cereal/yogurt, pastries, fruit basket of apples and bananas.. On 2 evenings there was chicken soup to warm us. Hotel wi-fi was strong, and they had a portable wi-fi box that we could take on our excursions around town so we could use GPS! After a day packed with sight seeing, it was great to come "home" to our hotel room.
