Beautiful setting, comfortable, cozy house— like staying with an old friend who made the special effort to make us feel at home. I like to cook and the open kitchen allowed for others to join in and while not ‘state’ of the art, the equipment was well stocked and organized including a full set of SHARP knives!

Family reunion

Mom and four adult children reunited for the weekend at this wonderful beach house. We were so comfortable! The walk to the beach is very short, the views out the windows are spectacular!

Lovely stay! Great location. Short walk to beach access. Home is very clean, cabin feel as pictured. Would stay here again. Didn’t need anything but management checked in frequently via text.

Relaxing family getaway

This is an amazing home at the perfect location: sort of a Goldilocks property. It’s the right size and the beach access is very close. Arch Cape is a small town so the beach is not too crowded but close to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita. This is our new favorite coastal rental.

Nice comfortable stay with panaromic ocean views

It was great place to stay in. Calm/quite neighbourhood away from hustle/bustle of Canon beach and Seaside. Nice interiors. Plenty of board games. The views from the house is spectacular.

Best View in Arch Cape

This house is charming. It’s efficient and well maintained but a renter doesn’t even notice that because the views are among the absolute best on that beach. Beach access is a breeze and everything is comfortable for the whole family.

Perfect Beach House Getaway

The Pilot House is a fantastic place to stay! We loved the gorgeous view! The kitchen is fantastic and the open layout to the living area allows everyone to interact even when preparing meals. Carol and Betty, who manage the property, were amazing to work with and made our stay easy and worry free. This was our second stay at the Pilot house and we plan to come back again!

we enjoyed our stay at the pilot house, house was roomy and clean Love the view from the front room , nice beach to walk on or just sit and watch the sunset it was very quite and peaceful. we are talking about another trip there next year .

Sweet Ocean Retreat

Friends celebrating turning 60! The Pilot House was perfect. Enough space for us as well as great views of ocean tides inside and outside. Watched the moon rise off the ocean and sunset. Great walking beach. Everything you need to cook dinner was available. Highly recommend The Pilot House

Wonderful Weekend for the Family

Clean and warm with plenty of rooms for the extended family. We had a great time, particularly sitting around the large square table with the extended family and having a fire down on the beach below the bluff. Toys and water sports gear in the garage was really helpful. Will definitely go back again!

perfect for a weekend with friends

Excellent property overlooking the beach. Easy drive from Portland and tons of room for me and my friends. The kitchen is open so its great for social evenings. The dining room table has an amazing view of the ocean and the house was very clean and cute. I would definitely go back

Cozy weekend at the pilot house

This house was GREAT. It was cozy, charming, and well equipped. We felt at home right away. We spent the first evening cozied on the couch to watch the sunset, cooked a wonderful dinner, and did a puzzle from the great selection. The next day we walked all the way to Hug Point. I can't wait to stay here again. It felt like home!

Beautiful stay at the beach!

We enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at the Pilot House. The house was spacious, well equipped and very clean. We had great weather and were able to make bonfires on the beach just below the house and enjoy many beautiful sunsets. Arch cape is a lovely area that is close to everything, but far enough to be quiet and not crowded. The games at the house were a plus since we were traveling with a 3 yr old. We also made friends with the 2 rabbits who frequented the backyard.

We want to come back every year!

This was a perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to get away. The ocean right out the window amazing, of course, and easy to walk down to the sand! The kitchen was very well-stocked with quality cookware and dishes and the entire home was clean and comfortable. We loved having the wood stove for our cozy puzzle evenings (lots of great puzzles and games). And the location was perfect...a quiet part of the coast tucked between fun and casual Rockaway and the upscale Cannon Beach shops and galleries. We did it all! Thank you for providing a haven for our rejuvenation.
