The room was comfortable, clean and ''spacy''... The hotel was very close to the central train station of Antwerp (A must see sightseeing) but a little far from the center, 2-3 km, well some might think that is far ;-) Breakfast not included. The stuff was very kind and helpfull.
Very nice location, close to the train station. Quite happy about the quality. The staff was extremely friendly with a good sense of humor! The negative point is that electricity sockets in the room have to be repaired. They were hanging out the wall. For the rest very good.
Stayed on night as part of travelbird.nl package. After reading both reviews from other sites (like booking.com) and this site didn't know what to expect. However it was much better than expected. The room was nice, the furnishing modern, room clean. The size was okay for two people (not big but not cramped), bathroom modern. The hotel is well positioned particularly if you are traveling by train (we didn't but if you are is well placed). If I were to rate this out of 10 it would come in at 7.8 to 8.0. There are things they could do it make the place better such as a hair dryer in the room and kettle or coffee service in the room. Having said this, these are just tips as they say all day coffee and tea are provided although we did not take advantage of this and if you ask the front desk they would probably tell you they can give you a hair dryer. The other tip is they could touch-up paint the walls and when they replace something like the light fixture in the bathroom do a better job of covering the older fixtures holes. Parking is a bear and expensive, not a fault of the hotel but we paid for public parking 50 meters from the hotel. Good news is it is available and close. The bad news was it is 20 Euros (23 Dollars for 24 hours). Breakfast is very good and plentiful a highlight. Another highlight is customer service. Very pleasant and very helpful. Overall, very much worth the money we paid and would stay again.
I was a bit worried when I booked this hotel last minute before my flight. It was about 10 minutes walk from the Antwerp Central and roughly 15ish minutes to Grote Markt van Antwerpen so it wasn't bad. The room was spacious, bed was very comfy, and bathroom was nice and clean. However, it was a bit stinky in the bathroom. I couldn't figure out where it came from. overall, I would stay here again
We arrived late at night to Antwerp. This hotel was booked on famous site. It had nice pic and good rating. Receptionist hardly explained in English where is the parking (20€ per day). Parking place was small and it smelled not nice at the ground floor. We were tired and directly went to sleep. Next morning we were terrified by room interior. Everything was dirty, old and broken. Never saw such dirty hotel. Everyone should see this pic before booking this hotel. Don't stay there! Don't ruin your trip!
We had an early morning train, so we stayed at Eden Antwerp. Easy five minute walk to station, walkable to older part of town, with the shopping street in between the two. Hotel was a very good value. It was clean, bed was comfortable. Location seemed very safe and it was quiet. One street over from the main street that leads to the old town had lots of restaurants that did not seem so touristy. (One street further away from the hotel.) We were very glad we ventured one street over as we had a delicious Indian meal in a very nice setting.
Extremely close to the Central station, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Antwerp. But near the central station, there's all kinds of things to do and see. Antwerp is an amazing city, it's a bit of a hidden gem, and definitely worth a visit! So, the hotel itself, is pretty basic. The rooms are small, but the bed is good for a European bed. Worth a stay!
Nice hotel in a nice city. The hotel is situated in the "diamantwijk" and you can walk to the Keyzerlei in a few minutes. Also the railwaystation and the shops you can reach in a few minutes by foot. The historical centre and the cathedral are a must see.
Hotel Eden is a basic hotel near the central station. The staff is friendly. The rooms are small but oké. The bathroom is clean but looks dirty because of a lack of long term maintenance. The shower spray is very soft and uncomfortable. The hotel elevator is noisy but that didn't bother me. The breakfast at saturday was fine, but the breakfast on sunday wasn't that good. It's a place to sleep for a fair price, but that's it.
The location of the hotel is superb. It is located in the central district, 10 minutes walk from the central station and central shopping street. The Rooms are a bit small but clean and cozy. Good noise isolation. The hotel offers wonderful breakfast and has a really great lounge area for working (with a very good quality free WiFi and free hot drinks 24/7. The staff is nice and really helpful. Strongly recommended.
