We were placed in a room in a building across from the actual hotel and our room was so noisy from street traffic that I didn't sleep. We checked out the next morning even though we were scheduled to stay 2 nights. They made us pay anyway. We were very disappointed and wouldn't stay here again.

I love it and definitely recommend to friend. Thank you for the excellent job. ♥️

This is a very good hotel for the area but certainly not a 5 star hotel.

We had a great experience at Porta Hotel Antigua. The location is just enough off the beaten path that you don't get disturbed by tourists. The pool had a nice community feel. The staff was incredibly accommodating, from dialing international numbers for us to making fires in our fireplace each night. I would definitely stay here if we go back to Antigua!

Personal amazing, ready to help you with everything, safe and the best rate to change dollar store

Porta Antigua Hotel was excellent in all aspects! Beautiful gardens, the room was spectacular! My family and I had the greatest experience. Antigua Guatemala is special and this hotel made it even more special. Thank you for the excellent customer service. Congratulations for such a beautiful hotel.

Very nice comfortable place to stay. Very good service getting to the hotel. What I didnt like was that they didn't ask if we preferred a one or two bed room. They assumed we needed two beds. I called the receptionist and asked to have me switch and took less then 10 mins. As we got to the bar, no one acknowledged us, which was very annoying. Finally someone came up to us, but the drinks weren't strong at all.. overall we had a nice time. Very nice pools and views. I give it a 4

Very nice. Staff were excellent. Breakfast adequate. Looks a really great place for families as lots of children's activities were taking place. Room was very nice. Mosquito type thing no so! Recommend giving the room a good spray a couple of hours before going to bed for the night. Excellent bed. Room was somewhat noisy as directly on the main street. Overall very, very good. I'm on business in Guatemala City and the transit time was less than an hour each way. Highly recommended!

Entrance of hotel was very nice. You are introduced by a small fountain. Checking in was very easy and the staff eager to help take your luggage and show you to your room. The room I stayed in had two full size beds with a fire place just across from the poo 1st floorl. Even though it was not peak time in Antigua hotel was still very busy and no noise traveled from the pool area to the room, We walked around the whole complex and it was very clean. You can tell they maintain the grounds very well. Staff if consistently sweeping and cleaning pool. The view of the volcanos was amazing! Words can't describe them just awesome. I found a little spot close to the grass and just took it all in. At night they light up the candles and the hotel transforms into a romantic get away. You feel welcomed and you definitely know you are on vacay, Oh super kid friendly as well.....

It's always great to go to Antigua, Guatemala. The trip is even better when you spen it in such great hotel. Great service. Great rooms. The rooms could use a little more lighting though. But overall, it was great.

It was a very good experience. The hotel does'nt has a good Internet conexion in the rooms.

The first night was horrible the room was small old and it didn't look so clean but that wasn't the worst part . Because of the old wall facing the street every time a car passed it felt like an earthquake and the noise make it impossible to slip. The next day I went to complain and they were really comprehensive they changed me to a room in a new part of the hotel completely different, big nice clean and new rooms the one that they show in the pictures. Our next 2 nights were perfect with a pool almost to our own. Also the hotel have a really good spa. They didn't charge us extra for the new room so I cant complain but the only thing its why do you have to complain to get the good stuff in stead of getting what you paid for from the beginning.

The hotel was amazing! I didn't want to leave! The great part... I got an upgrade! The staff was so patient and efficient! I loved the food, the pool, the spa! I definitely had an amazing time, so much I am planing to turn it into a tradition!

The room and facility couldn't be better. The beds and pillows were wonderful! We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was beautifully presented and delicious.

The staff was friendly, the location was close to the city center (which was great for shopping and exploring Antigua). The rooms have hardwood floors and the extra blankets are not the comfortable. The staff is very friendly though. Overall it is a nice hotel with a good location in Antigua.

Overall Hotel was great. Clean pool, great steam/sauna area, gym had adequate machines. The only gripe is that there is a charge to use WiFi in the rooms. Free WiFi was only available by the bar, restaurant, and lobby.

Excellent in every way, except food wich is very average and with no taste!

One of my best hotel experiences in all of my travels abroad. The staff were always polite and accommodating. They helped to organize transportation to and from the airport as well my local trips and tours of the city and surrounding villages. All my concerns and questions were promptly addressed - I had a priblem with my wi-fi, which they diligently addressed until it was fixed. I didnt end up using it much, but nice to have so I could post my pictures to Facebook. My room was immaculate and had a wonderful rustic charm to it. I also appreciated their emphasis on responsible use of energy and other resources - that is, living "green". Great place!

You will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful courtyard adorned by flowers and parrots. It is also located near the main square of the city with many restaurant/shopping options.
