This is a fantastic property. Very well appointed, exceptional features, the kitchen blew us away, everything you want and more. Host was fantastic, couldn't be more welcoming and communicative. We loved our stay at the Funky Dutchman. We enjoyed all the amenities and our dogs loved the fenced yard. We had so much fun playing games and hanging out in the yard. The area is nice and very close to Hershey park. The hosts have thought of everything you’d need to have a comfortable stay. Check in and out was very easy. The house is in a nice neighborhood. Host Kyle is very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend 100%!

I think our favorite hosts are the ones who communicate in a timely manner, pay attention to details, and help you feel cozy in their space. The Funky Dutchman checked off all those boxes and more. Two sets of families with a total of seven kids ranging from 5-17 years old, and not a one was bored. Great choice of games in the game room, the movie space was a clever use of the walkthrough, and the little reading nooks allowed for any of us to get some quiet time. Thank you for your hospitality and taking care of us!

What a great place to get away to with the family. Just got back and if I could rate Funky Dutchman a 10 we would. They thought of everything and more. The host was amazing to work with for suggestions in the area, especially restaurants since never being up this way. Will highly recommend to our family and friends when heading to Hersey area. This house was amazing, so many of the small details were taken care of, and you felt welcome and could relax. Very close to the big attraction of Hershey and shopping. The hot tub, pool, game room, and theater were used daily. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, and parking out back by the garage was not a big deal. The traffic out front was the only negative. The host answered all our questions in a timely manner. Would definitely stay there again, if in the area.

Our Family of 5 from Louisiana had a weekend trip planned to Hershey, PA and I chose to stay here instead of hotel options offered at Hershey Park and would 100% do it again!The short drive daily was well worth it and the pics are what you see and more! So much work has been done to the house to offer a comfortable and fun experience for the whole family. There is also restaurants available close by and literally one across the street for the nights or mornings you don’t want to cook with excellent food!To top it off Kyle was very responsive to any questions and extremely accommodating.I would highly recommend The Funky Dutchman!

The best home

I absolutely loved this home. It was beyond equipped it came with everything and I do mean EVERYTHING that you could possibly need. The owners were super nice, hospitable and available although I only needed to call them to compliment them for going above my expectations in regards to a vacation getaway spot. The themes and decor was so original, I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you for this experience this home was absolutely beautiful and welcoming

This is a great house in a perfect location (it’s on a Main Street though, so traffic can be annoying at times). The house has everything we needed like if we were home. The kids stayed entertained with the games, pool, and movies. Our main location was Hershey and this was just 20 mins away. There is plenty to do in the area and a ton of places to go for food, entertainment, and shopping. The host was very responsive to us if needed. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Great winter break

We were hoping for a great escape for us and our granddaughters during their winter break and the Funky Dutchman did not disappoint! The gardens and zoo are surprisingly fun in the winter and Chocolate World can easily fill a day. Best of all, though, was hanging out at the house. We all loved the hot tub even in 20 degree weather! The game room was a big hit too, especially foosball. We watched movies in the theater room every night. With popcorn. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family dinner, but we also had a great meal at a fun restaurant right across the street. Highly recommend this place.
