A little disappointing
The place did not live up to the expectations of the photo and listing. The apartment was very hot in July. Windows can not be left open as the flat is on the ground floor and window shutters are not secure. Knowing the flat gets very hot some fans should be provided (note we came from another property in the area that was a more traditional build and remained cool, the heat in this property is due to the building). The electrics did not work properly - sockets in the main bedroom did not work, lights by the bed did not work, electric tripped when using the over an kettle. The property is quite tired, curtain rails are bent, the tv cabinet is does not fit together properly, the lounge door does not shut. We ran out of hot water on both days and the host was unable to provide clear instructions on how to locate and turn on the water heater. The property is listed with a washing machine. We need to use that as we had been travelling for a while. Unfortunately it does not drain and spin properly, the drum was still half full of water and clothes very wet - i had to manually wring out the washing. We were provided towels but no bath mats. The shower is over the bath with no screen, so the bathroom gets very wet, we had to use the towels to mop the floor. We did eventually find some bath mats, they were screwed up in a cupboard that has the fuse boxs. The mats were very wet, which I presume is why they had not been put out for our stay. The flat was clean.
