Just a quick stay for business. It was clean, easily accessible and pet friendly. Staff was mediocre and certainly didn't go out of their way to make one feel welcome, but they weren't hostile either.
Very good product for the price paid. Well worth it. Only down side is a not so good breakfast.
Hotel room was perfect for a last minute travel. Room was clean, and staff was friendly.
Comfortable hotel next to restaurants and theater and close to Clemson and Anderson. Staff very nice and helpful. Nice room
Carpet was dirty..no convenient electrical outlets for breathing machine, computer and phones. Had to sit on dirty carpet to plug in breathing machine . Front desk ladies were very professional and helpful.
I've stayed at dives in Mexico through 5 star hotels in Malaysia, etc. When I saw a 4.5 rating in Trip Advisor I was hopeful but this place didn't live up to the rating. Stayed on first floor. Noisy with curtains that cannot keep out the million watt parking lot lights. Room was decent but some noticeable stains on carpet and other areas. TV was covered in some sort of film. Either the maid sprayed it and never cleaned it or a can of soda exploded all over it. You could tell cleaning staff just dusted around stuff. Bathroom vent was covered in dust. Continental breakfast was minimalist at best. No one around to clean up tables. had to wipe things down myself then rile throughthe cabinets to find a spoon. SO as my title says 4.5 relative to what. Not a bad place but there are other options right around the corner...
Marty gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. He was very impressive.
The rooms were smaller than your average room, but it was plenty of space for our small family and was about half the cost of similar hotels located less than 1/2 mile away. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great.
The entire stay was great! staff were excellent. The one and only complaint i have it that the walls were paper thin. We could literally hear the peoples phone vibrating on the bedside table in the room next to us.
Friendly staff! Room was comfortable, clean, and provided all we needed for our short stay. Breakfast is truly continental....a good selection of breads/muffins, cereals, beverages and fruit. Will stay again.
Good experience and bed slept great! Had all the comfort that I needed. The breakfast left a little to be desired though. Selection was small and not very good.
Enjoyed this stay. Will visit again soon. Thank you!
Hotel was fine, nothing special. Usually out of coffee or on the low end and no coffee maker in my room. Breakfast is undesirable but considering the price of room and location was doable.
I have stayed here many a time due to value and cleanliness. I was disappointed this time with a room on the first floor that was not quiet. Compressor in the middle of the night started vibrating and lobby noises.
We especially loved the fresh warm cookies in the evening!
Stayed one night while visiting the area. Suite was decent size, but the bed gave both me and my wife backaches. Typical continental breakfast for a chain hotel. Reasonable if you just need a place to crash for a night.
Missed the location since so many others block the view of the microtel. Very clean room and comfortable. sound from other rooms was detectable but not noticable. Great value unless you need a breakfast.
1. No fridge or microwave in room 2. My room was right next door to the fitness room. People would turn on the TV at maximum volume on a video (music) channel and it was like I was at a rock concert. Both late a night and at 6am! 3. Watched the evening front desk attendant drop a chocolate chip cookie on the floor before baking a batch and then he picked it up and put back on the cookie sheet to bake!! on the cookie sheet
Great experience! Great stay. Hotel was very nice and clean.
