Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay. The host thought of everything. There were many thoughtful extras that were made available to and for us to use (if we chose to). Extras such as binoculars and a backpack for day trips and a reusable (cloth) shopping bag for food runs. This property is centrally located for trips to Anchorage, the scenic highways, and excursions. I was there for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host has a plethora of information about alaska and available 'things to do'. If/when I come back to Alaska, this is where I would stay!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alison's place. We had been traveling for several months and seeing Allison's place felt like home. Unlike several other places we stayed at, Alison's place had extra linens, utensils, coffee and a small pantry with items to use. It reminded me of a backpacker's pantry. The location was a short drive to groceries, fast food, restaurants and several hiking trails. Best of all, we got to see a small moose one day eating leaves off of a nearby tree. If you're looking for a comfortable place that is convenient, don't hesitate to stay at Alison's place.
