The bad: old, dingy rooms. Subpar continental breakfast. Stiff squeaky beds and flat pillows The good: Our room had 2 king size beds. Free parking. Very very nice staff.

Very basic room with bare floors - no carpet or rugs

Quiet unpretentious place. Friendly staff. Very professional manager.

Very comfortable place to sleep over: clean, spacious, excellent building maintenance from the inside to the outside of building. Excellent customer service - resolved minor issues very fast...

In July 2017, we stayed at Long House wanting to stay "local" and liked the log cabin look of the building. Wished I had just gone for a chain instead. It just doesn't seem like the facilities are kept up. Windows (glass) was broken on the first-floor room we were assigned and the phone wasn't connected to call the front office. We were assigned another room and for the price, it was not a deal at all. There was no AC and it's hot and stuffy in there even if they put a (noisy and dirty) fan inside. Beds were not that comfortable and when we asked for extra pillows, some came without a case. Towels were clean and nice but there are no perks here except for a free breakfast. Not worth the hassle even for one night. CANNOT recommend this to anyone for its lack of value.

Great hotel conveniently located near the airport, and with shuttle service. Clean, basic, fair for the price

Okay for a short, one night stay. Good if you just need a place to crash for a few hours or overnight. Staff is friendly, the facility is outdated though.

It was one of the cheaper places to stay in Anchorage, so I wasn't expecting much. They let me check in way early which was so helpful, around 11am. They also offer a complimentary van ride to the airport, also incredibly helpful. The whole place was outdated. Old furniture, pictures, tv, appliances, etc ... The room wasn't fancy, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It was clean enough for the 1 night I needed to be there. Breakfast was adequate. Cereal, muffins, juice, coffee The manager at the front desk was great & the maintenance guy who drove me to the airport was friendly. It's not a five-star hotel, but if you're not too picky, it'll be just fine.

Long wait for shuttle, gave up after an hour. Long wait in lobby, we inconvenienced the front room attendant. Long hallways and stairs, no elevator, luggage got very heavy half way up. Long room without curtains or pillows. Could not get bath towels for three people, had to use hand towels, but did have hot water. No amenities, including a trash bin.

over priced hotel, the bed was old, a old box t.v. No room service, no tissue or clean towel's. bad parking

The hotel staff was very nice. The room at first was nice looking, but the beds were so outdated and uncomfortable it ruined the stay here. The mattress sagged and was in something you would expect in dump. The water level in the toilet was so high your bottom was an inch from it. I had a handy capped room and the beds rolled when you tried to lay down, not very safe.

The staff was friendly. It is across the street from Lake Hood, where planes land and take off on the water. Close to gas stations and restaurants. The room was clean.

The plumbing leaked and the housekeeping was very poor. Even found some bedbug bites. Not a place I would stay again.

The staff was very friendly, they picked me up from the airport when my flight got in at 1 am. The room was very plain and basic, not real closet, just a rod with hangers, I was only there for about 9 hours to sleep before my next flight so this wasn't important to me. It was the cheapest place with a free airport shuttle, I didn't need anything, just a bed to sleep in. There was two in my room, one had a small blood stain when I pulled back the sheets. So I just went the the other bed and it was fine. No bed bugs and I knock up. All in all it is just an okay place for a really great price.

Sorry to hear that you waited so long for the free shuttle. I understand that you did not get on the 1st shuttle when it arrived and had to wait for the 2nd. In which you decided to take a taxi, meanwhile the shuttle driver is waiting and looking around for you at the train deport only to find out that you took a taxi. All guest rooms have curtains, trash cans and there are plenty of extra towels when asked.
