The location is perfect! Customer service was amazing, comfy bed, although it's not the type of bed I reserved, breakfast was yummy. Major con...the shower. It was disgusting! The shower curtain was disgusting, moldy, filthy and literally sat in the shower pan a good 3 inches. To make it even worse, the shower pan drained so slowly, even with the water pressure on the lowest setting, you were wading in water, along with the nasty shower curtain. It's a good thing the rain showerhead was broken!

This hotel was perfect for us. Just a minute's walk from the museumplein and within a 20 minute walk of just about everything. Rooms are typical European size (smaller than in the US), but ours was quiet and clean and very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and the food we purchased at the restaurant was surprisingly good. Cannot imagine a better hotel from which to explore the city!

The hotel couldn't been located in a better place. It was new the van Gogh Museum and the national ricks museum. It's walking distance to a whole bunch of great shopping and if you want to spend a lot it's right next to rodeo drive of Amsterdam

Great location and size of room. Very close to museums and tour connections.

We arrived early after a long flight and the hotel staff was still able to get us into our room a few hours before the scheduled checkin time, which was quite necessary. The hotel is conveniently located near both the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, and the contemporary art museum, as well as a block and a half from a Tram station. The hotel staff made great recommendations for local restaurants, and took care of booking us a table at a top Indonesian restaurant in the area. They also handled booking a candlelight cruise. The staff even sent my wife and I a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary, which was incredibly sweet.

Around the corner fro both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh!

Very nice hotel with clean room. Staff is cordial and helpful. Would definitely stay at the Bilderberg Jan Luyken Hotel during my next visit to Amsterdam.

I love staying in this hotel because of its location and conform level. It was a short ride from an airport to a beautiful neigh-hood in the heart of museum district. The restaurant was a little too expensive, but there is very nice supermarket located very close close to the hotel with a large variety of freshly prepared foods you can get for breakfast and lunch. We loved how specious the room was, with a tea pot and fridge. We will determinately stay there again.

The hotel was absolutely delightful! Our room was small but surprisingly comfortable and well planned - my husband and I were quite comfortable there for several days. The staff made us feel very special and well cared for during our stay. If you stay there don't miss the breakfast, it is well worth the price and is a great way to start your day. Hotel is very close to some of the major museums, convenient to Vondelpark, and just one street over from lots of designer shops too. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Amsterdam.

It was a wonderful choice. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist with all of my needs. Very close to Central Station and most of the attractions. Loved It!

Most convenient location: close to museum, nearby tram station to inner city, and bus to the Airport. Building is old so the room is typically European small. In our room the WiFi signal is week, so that's a disappointment. Overall is a very nice hotel.

This hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing around Amsterdam. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and amenities were great. The rooms are also quiet and the lounge area is pleasant. Would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect for us; steps to the Museumplein where the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and Stedeljik are. Also minutes to the Concertgebouw concert hall, canal cruise boats, Leidesplein with many restaurants, the Albert Cuyp Market which is fun, and the Spiegelgracht area with many lovely galleries, shops and cafes. The rooms were very comfortable with nice amenities, and updated bathrooms. Very pleasant reception personnel who gave us a fantastic map with every little street clearly mapped. A very nice stay.

This beautiful hotel was perfect for us. Easy walk to the museums. Very clean, and the room was big for european standards. The staff was so accomodating and multilingual. We've reserved it for our return trip in August.

The hotel was in the perfect location if you are avoiding the extremely noisy areas and still wanna be close to the action. It was close to the tram stop, the museum quarter, and some nice cosy restaurants in the same region. The only disadvantage was they did not offer free wifi even in the lobby area! I had to buy wifi (pricy) just to use my computer for simple things. Overall, my stay was perfect, the staff were really nice as well and it was a clean hotel. I definitely recommend it.

On a quiet street and about as perfect a location as possible for the art-interested. Within a few blocks of the Rijksmuseeum, the Van Gogh museum, the Stedelijk, and the Concertbegouw. Room was tiny but adequate. Excellent but pricey (ask at check-in) breakfast buffet, with good cheese, smoked salmon, fruit, etc. Try the wonderful chewy raisin/currant bread. Friendly, helpful staff.

For visits to museums this hotel is perfectly located. The rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is good but pricey at 15 euros. The front desk support is spotty: they missed a wake up call and only provided Internet access information after multiple attempts. But after I complained they made every effort to make up. But overall we had a good stay.

Located on a quite street in the most prestigious area of Amsterdam and yet only a short walk to major sites, the best shopping, restaurants and night life. A small boutique hotel with a very accomodating staff. Rooms are small but comfotable. A great place to stay

My husband and I were in Amsterdam prior to taking a river cruise. I chose this hotel online and it was perfect. Located in the museum district and within walking distance of the old city center and many attractions. The canals are charming and a city map helped us get around. This building is old but has been updated and maintained well. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel conveys a more formal atmosphere. Location is excellent. Small rooms.
