Stop scrolling and just book this hotel. It is so wonderful. The property is gorgeous and in the heart of the museum distract. Literally steps away from the Van Gogh, Momo, and Rijk. There was great shopping and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. There is an above group tram stop steps away. I recommend getting a pass for that during your stay. Also, we were there for christmas and the museum quarter has the best and largest christmas market in town, also steps away! We stayed in the medium room with a balcony. Breakfast was nice and light with amazing juices and they had a mini bar open all day free for guests. We didnt try it but they also have free bike rentals. I cant recommend this hotel enough!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Nicely decorated with communal areas you actually want to spend time in. Large room in excellent condition. Free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks 24/7, and high quality snacks served every afternoon. Breakfast of more limited selection but all good quality. Well positioned near the major museums and tram network. A bargain at the price!

Both the neighborhood and hotel are extremely charming (though the narrow, steep stairs are a surprise for an American! You can always use the elevator!) The street has lovely large trees. Museums are minutes away on foot, as are canals. We did experience disturbing street noise late at night when we stayed in a room facing the street (loud yelling, revving motorcycles, etc.), but another room facing the back was very quiet. You have the feeling of staying in a bed and breakfast, as breakfast options are extensive, and there is always wine and beer available for no charge.

We spent two days visiting Amsterdam. The hotel was in a wonderful location as we walked everywhere. Quiet, clean, amazingly comfortable beds, and terrific service. Highly recommend!
