Totally run down and overused hotel! Poor rooms, bathrooms, linen, towels... Sofa stained, tables dirty, no amenities in the bathroom! Ordered Phirni in dessert it was spoilt! Crockery and cutlery in the restaurant was also run down! Totally disappointing experience!
Closely located to the airport and a beautiful property but really need some more warmth for the guests and faster room service. They took about 45 minutes to refill baby's bottle... In room service phones were continuously engaged over 15 minutes... One touch help won't even listen to your query and would simply forward your call and to the worst at times would pick your call and hang it up straight away. Receptionist guy was least interested in helping and replying to your queries was a burden to him, hardly smiled which is very unlikely of hotel industry... But apart from that the food was brilliant, the site was a clean and well maintained... We booked a studio suite and was happy with our room... Just that due to a little too slow room service we could hardly take time to enjoy the restaurant and bar... Would definitely stay again with hopes of seeing more smiles and happy to help people...
Family vacation. We were well taken care off. Ms. Ibtesham was very helpful. Restaurant staff were also serviced well. Enjoyed our stay. It’s a little away from the city, but not at all an issue if you have your own commute.
Stayed here with very poor service and poorly presented room and food. It is very close 3 minutes from airport which is the only good thing about this hotel. Staff were very rude, the room needed updating.
Stayed a couple of nights with the family . Unfortunately the hotel was hosting a couple of group bookings and we noticed the property doing what many do when they have groups - don't look after FIT well and struggle . Our reservations were all messed up. At breakfast the groups were accommodated within the main coffee shop leading to complete chaos . And of course - my smiles at all . Maybe it was the stress of the groups but the only smiles we got ( really warm ones ) were at the main gate of the property .
Radisson Blu is very close to Amritsar airport about 2.2 kms and adjacent to it is Park Radisson Hotel. Being a Club Carlson Member it is disappointing to write unfavorable review but should address issue so that they raise the bar to the level of RADISSON BLU of International standard. To me it looks that the local franchisee owner do not maintain the standard associated with the brand like RADISSON BLU. To begin with Bath towels were torn, housekeeping has not kept hand towels, Non smoking designated room was smelling of cigarettes, Noisy air conditioner etc...... Inspite of rectifying the noisy aircon it again started in the middle of the night..... Overall room size and ambiance as well as toilet is standard Breakfast good and adequate. Staff also cooperative. Overall ambiance of hotel/Lobby area, pool side all is standard. Management should realise that between Radisson/Park/ Country Inn has different standards and prices are based assuming the same. In short it is not upto the standard of RADISSON BLU. Country Inn and suites is better located for Golden temple as well as Shopping/Dhaba food etc.
Its a good hotel just near the Airport. Cheap as far as the buffet is concerned. Food is tasty. Ambience is good. But if you are planning to arrange a party over there then the rules are very strict like you can't get the band of your choice instead they suggest you from the list they have. Arranging for liquor from outside is also very costly as they charge 1000 rs on each bottle from outside. For an open air dj the timing is till 10 pm only... Otherwise it is a good place.
I travelled to Amritsar during Gurupurab and the main reason was to spent quality time with my family. I selected Radisson Blu for a 2 night stay at the city, the hotel is fabulous and the staff is friendly. Quality of food is also very good and my kids enjoyed the breakfast a lot.
This hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the airport (1 min from Amritsar airport by car). The room is clean and comfortable for business trip. Tavolo Mondo food is very nice. I think that I will stay here next time.
The Radisson is a great hotel to stay for access to Golden Temple,Waga border and great for the Airport. The staff and facilities and five star. Would definitely stay again. The choice of food was excellent!
