Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service I recently stayed at Opal with my teenage kids and had a truly delightful experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast the next morning — the buffet was genuinely impressive, offering a wide variety of high-quality, delicious dishes that rival those of a 5-star hotel. What stood out most was the exceptional room service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. I’d like to extend a special thank you to Usama from maintenance, who kindly helped us tune the TV and brought us water. His humility and eagerness to assist were truly appreciated. We were given a room that had not even been cleaned. Found a fake finger nail in the bed from the previous customer so the bedding had obviously not been changed. There was old hair on the furniture and mold on the ceiling. Do not use their airport car shuttle service either, it is just an uber they book but they charge you double.

We stayed 2 nights and only had a full day in Jordan to see Petra. This hotel is gorgeous! We wish we could have stayed longer. The family suite had 2 whole rooms with a full bathroom each and a mini fridge. They graciously accommodated with to-go breakfasts which consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich and lots of little breads as well as a juice box👀.

We ordered a non smoking room but the smell was terrible, you can smell smoke everywhere, on the bed, the sofas, the carpet, the curtains. It was awful. We couldn't sleep all night. The smoking culture is insane and they don't get it that not everyone smokes and non-smoking rooms mean they must not smell any smoke inside. There was also a noise outside in the early morning coming from drilling machinery in a construction nearby.
