En la relación entre precio y calidad tengo que decir que estuvo muy bien, especialmente porque la estadía fue muy corta. El cuarto era muy pequeño y por preservar un estilo, hay cosas desafortunadamente incómodas para el viajero o la vida de hoy. El baño tenía una pileta de pie, cero lugar para apoyar los 2 necessaires de viaje. Las canillas eran de fria por un lado y caliente por el otro. Sin mezcladora. O sea que para lavarse las manos hay que llenar la pileta o congelarse la derecha mientras te quemas la izquierda. El cuarto agradable aunque muy pequeño. La atención muy amable y el desayuno muy bueno!

The room was clean and spacious with lovely views of the lake, the food was delicious especially the buffet breakfasts and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a really enjoyable 4 night break and we will definitely be returning.

Booked in response to photos of property. We’re given a simple room in an annex behind the house, so, not what we were expecting. Also, shower and heating controls are in need of some attention.

Excellent location, although access a bit awkward and parking a bit tight. Cleanliness exceptional in all areas. Food is very good and portions are a good size. Staff helpful when required and attentive. A very enjoyable stay, despite the weather, and look forward to a return visit.

The room wasn"t overly clean. the building we were in was more than "just across the road." Both the building were up a significant high hill with access up and down on the driveway or switch back through the front hillside. At the roadside it was a small landing on the curve of the busy main highway through Ambleside. The breakfast had a very nice buffet and nice eating area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The latch on the outside door was difficult to open and could pose a safety issue.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. We loved our room and the restaurant. Only wish it was a longer stay. One night was definitely not enough and we would love to come again and stay longer.

Lovely Hotel

Very nice room with a terrace outside. Clean and fresh with excellent service. Wonderful breakfast and decent meals on the menu. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good location. However, multiple things that could be better. I had informed the hotel it was our wedding anniversary but this was not acknowledged and nothing done to make it feel special. Difficult driveway access to the lakehouse parking and also very limited. Didn't realise that check in was at the pub opposite the road (busy road to cross). Long, slow moving line to check in. Room small but had all amenities. Cleanliness could be better due to lots of dust and dead flies on windowsills. Lots of noise from other guests in the early hours of the morning that could be heard. Breakfast good with vegetarian options. Overall okay but could have been better.

It's fine.

It is very confusing when you first arrive. It isn't clear that you need to go down the hill, over the road and into the pub to check in. Once you've managed that then it's OK but if the weather is bad there isn't a lounge to relax in.

The room is a bit too warm.

The room is a bit too warm. We were not able to switch off the towel rack heating in the bathroom. It seems the ventilation fan inside the bathroom is not working.

Overnight

We arrived early and waited until 3.00pm Staff friendly room was spacious and clean. Pillows were terrible and the room above ours they were moving furniture and walking about until 4.00 am Did tell two members of staff one apologised and the other said she wondered what was going on up there! Thought we had dinner , bed and breakfast for £279.00 but was told only bed and breakfast. All staff were friendly but very rushed.
