This hotel is the absolute best. We decided to stay here after I looked at places to stay in the Amalfi Coast and read that Atrani was a must see place. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff in extremely professional and helpful. It is very contemporary and you could get a really nice view from the rooms. My favorite thing here was the terrace. It has the best 360 degree view of atrani, you could order drinks there and relax. They also do small weddings here. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed. Also, pro tip: you could ask the hotel to bring the luggage up for you so you don't have to climb up the steps with it.
We enjoyed the quieter Atrani to the Craziness of Amalfi. Our room was great! Location and cleanliness. The breakfast was fine and we didn't use any of the spa services. I do have one major complaint. I don't think I slept well one night there. The bed was awful and the pillow was worse. I woke up sore and the pillow basically gave me a headache every time my head touched it. The staff was awesome and the location can't be beat. We did use the expensive $130 transfer from Naples but I didn't feel like screwing with a bus or other transportation. The drive up and over the mountain did a number on my nerves but I'll let you discover that for yourself. We aren't beach people but did swim everyday. We ate and drank in Atrani and Amalfi which is just a short walk around the bend.
Atrani is beautiful and only a short walk from Amalfi. You have to climb a number of steps to get to the hotel but Carlos, the friendly concierge, will help you with your bags for a couple of Euros. The rooms are clean and the views are magnificent. I would advise that you book your own taxi if you need one as the hotel booked us a very overpriced executive car when we asked for a taxi.
This hotel was far better than expected. It's located in Atranti about 50 steps up from a gorgeous beach. Atrani is an adorable Amalfi coast town with far less tourists than its neighbor Amalfi. Palazzo Ferraioli has excellent, helpful customer service. The bell man, Carlos, carried all 8 of our bags down the steps to our car at the end of our stay. Antonio helped us bring them up at the beginning. One of the front desk women gave us a fantastic dinner suggestion in Ravello that we thoroughly enjoyed (El Savatore). There is free breakfast in the mornings. Plenty of good food including meats, cheeses, eggs, fruits, pastries, juices, and coffee, to get your day started. Our room was gorgeous with a jacuzzi and panoramic view of the mountain and sea. It was also very clean. The only down side was that our king sized bed was very firm, too firm, and the 1 pillow left a lot to be desired. The rooftop is spectacular. You won't want to leave the view there either. The roof is lined with lounge chairs and a few tables/chairs to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are also 2 hot tubs on the roof as well as bar access. Overall this hotel is excellent! My boyfriend and I would definitely stay again. Our 4 nights in Atrani were absolutely amazing!
The Hotel was quiet and comfortable; however we found it difficult to carry two heavy suitcases up 82 steps uphill to the hotel. The room was lovely, great sea views. The breakfast was very good too. The steps were a killer!
Decor bright and clean. Plenty of breakfast.linen changed daily.polite staff.the hotel was chosen by Peregrine tours for our 12 person walking group for four nights and we stayed an extra night. The outdoor areas were a popular meeting place for the group before we headed out.
Spent 2 nights (Wish it was at least 4), at this pristine little hotel with an amazing sea-view room. The staff was fantastic, room was very clean and updated and the staff was great. If you are traveling there by car. Please note the best place to park is the Luna Rosa Parking Garage about 100 yards away. Put the Garage in your GPS instead of the Hotel, The hotel can be a tough find. As long as you don't move your car, the long term parking rate is $20 EUR/day. Yes, there are a lot of steps to get to the hotel, but it's worth it. Atrani in my opinion, is the perfect spot for this part of the Amalfi Coast. You are steps away from the city of Amalfi, a short, inexpensive bus ride to the top of Ravello or the small other towns (also great for hiking). You are also a short boat ride to Capri, Ischia, Positano, etc...No need to hop from town to town. Make this hotel your base and stay multiple days here. Atrani is more quiet too. The little main square (right outside the Palazzo Ferraioli has great restaurants too. The drive to this hotel was thrilling and beautiful. I highly suggest it.
We stayed here for 3 nights while on our honeymoon. The hotel is tricky to find as you need to park your car in the car park on Atrani Beach or up at the Luna car park and then make your way down, then spiral up some stairs. We stayed in a stunning room with a gorgeous grand gold bed and gold bathroom. Staff were extremely pleasant and willing to help, they also organise a poor man to lug all my luggage back down the steps to our car upon checkout. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to visit again!
My friends and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was very quiet during our stay and we were given undivided attention. The hotel staff was exceptionally nice, the morning breakfast was fantastic and the restaurants in the court area were superb! We had delicious food and lots of good local wine. I loved the hotel and the 84 steps to get to the lobby were a daily workout! We made sure once we went down we did everything we needed. Once we were up the steps we didn't go back down until the next day. WE definitely made lots of jokes and talked about doing a Step workout video. We never did it. We love it and Italy was spectacular.
This hotel is located in Atrani, which is within a walking distance from Amalfi by the pedestrian tunnel (about 10 minutes). It offers beautiful views on the bay of Salerno. The rooms are a little bit small but perfectly clean and equipped. We did not have the opportunity to test the spa. The hotel is very quiet, except for the churches' bells waking you up on Sunday morning ! Since it is also the case for all the other hotels around Amalfi this should not be taken as a negative point for this particular hotel. The staff is very friendly. As mentioned in other reviews, if you come from the lower part of the city, be aware that you will have to climb the infamous 83 steps.
