About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Unique, authentic, exquisite waterfront cottage with a dock.

A unique piece of paradise in North Bimini, “Ernie’s” (named for Ernest Hemingway, who frequented Bimini and found inspiration here for his sea-faring tales) villa has three big comfortable bedrooms, a large open bright living space, and a full open kitchen for big dinner parties, nestled in a lush half-acre enclave. Enjoy our deck right on the water with a small grill. The property has 100 feet of waterfront and a large dock. Includes tie-up for a boat up to about 40 feet; low tide about 40". No canals, no condos. Ernie’s offers an authentic Bimini-island experience outside the resort and the condos, without sacrificing creature comforts and style. A private, gated property steps away from a friendly local community with great restaurants, bars, and stores. If you want a larger gathering with family or friends, we have two other cottages close by on our property (#2875346 and # 2881517). A quick cart ride south to Radio Beach and the attractions of Alice Town. And a quicker cart ride north to the restaurants, casino, and other offerings of Resort World and the Hilton. Enjoy our yoga mats - a great way to start the day watching the sunrise. Starlink high-speed WIFI for Netflix (or checking in at work, if you must). Spectacular sunrises, sunsets, and rising moons are at your doorstep!
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fenced private yard, and a coffee maker.

The house and location was incredible and just as described in the listing. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute, getting up in the morning and having coffee on the dock and enjoying the sunrise! The house was clean, well-appointed and perfect kitchen for the times when we did cook. We can't say enough great things! And when we had a hiccup with the lock - it was figured out quickly! We would most definitely stay again!

This is paradise. We played, swam, floated, snorkeled and fished right off the dock. So many snapper, tarpon, barracuda, rays, tropical fish, and octopus. It was like our own sea world. We also absorbed the island and had great party nights out at the fun local bars. Slept comfortably, had everything we needed. So fun!
