We stayed over Christmas for 4 nights, what a find .... easy walk into the lovely shops, bars and restaurants and to the beach! The hotel staff were lovely, the room was spotless as was the hotel... great power shower, bed very comfy and bedding very nice, could not fault the abba centrum and will definitely visit again, and would highly recommend.
Stayed here for two nights in September. The location is central , used lower flor parking . Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Comfortable room, spacious and clean. The hotel has a roof terrace which is quiet and peaceful, nice for a little sunbathing at the end of the day. Used the excellent supermarket across the road to stock up before continuing our journey inland. Overall enjoyed our stay, good value for money.
Stayed here for just one night, whilst on a business trip in the area. Nice stay, comfortable bed, quite a central location. Parking was quite expensive for one night, but it was in the middle of town, so I shouldn't complain too much. Breakfast was okay. Would stay here again on another business trip.
I stayed here for two nights. The beds are really comfortable. The room is also a generous size with a well equipped bathroom with a powerful shower over the bed. The location is a little further from the centre than some of the others but it is still walkable. It doesn’t mean there is little noise outside. Happy to stay here another time. Really helpful staff and only paid 65 euros a night.
I spent two weeks here in October on a business/education trip and I have to say it was well worth it. I’ve stayed in a slightly more central hotel in Alicante before but this time they were looking for a small fortune for two weeks, whereas this hotel cost less than half what the other one asked for, so choosing here was a no-brainer. I was delighted to find a good quality hotel at a fair price. The hotel is just off a nice square in a good part of town near the commercial streets. The old town and seafront is a ten minute walk away. All the staff were friendly and professional, the breakfast was the usual buffet fare but perfectly acceptable. The rooms were very good and impeccably clean. The one slight downside was that the hotel offered massages and spa treatments but they were offered by an external masseur who visited the hotel. I tried on several occasions to book a massage but the masseur had gone missing and they failed repeatedly to contact him. The hotel was apologetic, but it would have been nicer to have received the service on offer! I suggest a new masseur is called for and you might want to check if the service is actually available.
- I paid a 3 people's room and they gives me a cheaper room smaller for two peoples. - I spent more than 30 minutes to make my check in wen i was the only one costumer in the front desk. - The room in the 5th floor, far away, with not views and terrible small. - Was "imposible" to sleep till 4am because of the sound from the other rooms.. I called twice to the resection but simple they don't care. - I paid in advance during my check in but this people miss my payment and ask me to paid again during the check out! "unbelievable" till now they didn't find my payment and i have not my invoice. I recommend to don't visit never ever this "nightmare" hotel.
Stayed here again! The third year in a row for our October break. Staff are great really helpful and friendly. Hotel clean, rooms nice and the location good. Five minute walk from estacion de autobus which runs from the airport at €3.85 each. Hotel location good if you don’t mind a little walk. Supermarket across the road & a “deal” Spanish Poundland (good for water & drinks) opposite Corte Englase.
Beautiful hotel, so central to shopping, ten mins walk to beach and marina. Lovely appointed rooms. Only drawback, no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Lovely relaxing terrace overlooking the city with ample sun beds. Quiet area for sunbathing. Sauna/solarium which we didn't get time to use, there was so much to see and do in Alicante. Staff at reception could not have been more helpful, despite lack of English speaking receptionists. They went out of their way to recommend places to see, provided maps and telephone numbers. Alicante has plenty of nice restaurants but it's worth getting recommendations. Toiletries in the bathroom were excellent quality, anything extra that was required was delivered promptly. Interior of hotel is very clean, spacious and modern with nice bar area. Breakfast at 12e was excellent. Will definitely return.
The wife booked this hotel as a birthday treat for our first visit to Alicante. I have not driven in central Alicante before but our sat nav took us straight there & the underground car park was easy to spot although I thought the 14 Euros/night a bit expensive! Check in all very pleasant & we made our way up to our room to find what looked like an air purifier on the bed side cabinet which had switched itself off. There was a strange fragrant smell in the room & my suspicions were immediate aroused. We confronted reception who seemed to have no knowledge of the device & initially denied anyone had been smoking in the non-smoking room. We went out for the day, came back late & on entering the room, the device had gone along with the strange fragrant smell & it became immediately obvious that the previous room occupant had indeed been smoking in the room. Being very late, all we wanted to do was go to bed so I turned on the air con & hoped for the best. My wife complained the next morning but was again met with initial surprise that someone had been smoking in the room but, after pressing the issue, they agreed to move us to another room. It was a larger room upgrade with a patio which was fine but, for some reason, it had a much smaller bed; it also took us valuable time moving all our stuff! The reception staff seriously let themselves down by allocating us a room in which someone had been smoking & then compounded this by initially denying it even though cleaning staff had left an air purifier in the room! It annoys me that they clearly knew there was a problem with the room but still allocated it to non smokers when there were other rooms available, the room should not have been re-let until the smell had completely gone. Apart from this, the Hotel was very good, modern, clean & well kept & would have merited a much better review.
We only stayed here one night. The hotel was very nice, clean and in a good location, which is exactly we were looking for before moving east along the coast. Will definitely book again if going back to Alicante.
